This song needs to be added to every station’s Christmas hit list… truly!
Not gonna lie: this moved me to tears. One can literally see and hear how much love for his familly (above all for his passed father, but also for his sons and wife) Richard Marx has put into the song. It's amazing he exposed some of those memories he kept alive and that portray how he feels about his beloved ones. Beautifully composed, emtionally appealing and perfectly sung. Love it. There's no doubt that Richard Marx is still one of the best if not the best singer and songwriter nowadays.
This made me cry... I miss the way things used to be... My Mom is gone, my Grandma is gone, and my Grandpa is gone... the 3 people I loved the most in this world... It's been hard going on without them... I don't even celebrate Christmas anymore.. but I remember when I did.. I never wanted those times to end. And even as a kid.. I loved just having my family around... I would give anything to have them back... :(
So it's Christmas just around the corner. It's make all the sense listening to Mr. Marx song as it is brought back those back years when things area so simple yet the happiest moment in my life when I still have my lovely parents with us all. This song is AMAZING. He just keeps on writing the BEST songs--such an immense talent! I can't think of another Christmas song that is so heartfelt, beautiful and makes me cry like a total baby. You can tell he really still misses his dad. Phenomenally beautiful music and lyrics, Richard. Thank you, again.

This song is so powerful. I am Jewish, but I used to celebrate Christmas. I first heard this song in a shopping mall, and I could not believe how it touched me. This song always chokes me up.
I lost my Mom 1 year ago 12-10-11.. This song makes me think of her and all of our 40 Christmases!! Thanks for blessing us all with your talent and this song..
I lost my mom on 08/07/22. 49 years of the most beautiful memories. I miss her sooo much. She was the Christmas Whisperer. Magical and added bewilderment in my 3-year-old heart, and this 49-year-old man has had it in his heart to this day. I love you Ma.
Richard, I have followed your music since I was a teenager and it has gotten me through a lot of hard times in my life. When life got to tough I would close myself up in my bedroom and turn on your music and it was a way to escape from things and In those moments I was happy and my mind wasn’t on my problems. My husband and I were very fortune to get to meet you a few years ago in Nashville and it was the one of the highlights of our lives. We both have always loved your music so to get to see you for the first time together and meet you was a dream come true.
I bought your Christmas album a few years ago and it is wonderful but I wanted to let you know how much Christmas Mornings means to me, I listen to it often, not just a Christmas but all year long. It reminds me of my memories growing up. See me and my sister were raised by my Grandma and she meant the world to me. We didn’t have a lot and she worked two jobs but she always made Christmas special. It is my most favorite time of the year because she always made it so grand with decorations, music, cooking, movies. She was a wonderful woman. This song reminds me of growing up also raising my child and me instilling those same values in him. My Grandma died 15 years ago and it is still hurts. Every Christmas I think about how the past one used to be and how much I miss her. People always ask why I am so crazy about Christmas and I just smile and say because of my grandma.
Thank you for this beautiful song and saying so many things that I think of every Christmas when I think of her and I miss her so. Things were simple when you are a child and when you become an adult you realize how much someone sacrifices for you and it makes you want to be a better person. If I could be half the person she was I will be so lucky. I am now 45 and my son is 23 but we still celebrate like we both did when we were little.
Thank you for the beautiful music you share with the world and I am sure I am one of hundreds that have told you things like this but you made my childhood better and you make my adulthood brighter with songs like this one that I can relate to, cry over and smile all at the same time. You are one in a million.

His voice is still fantastic. This CD is phenomenal. All the songs are fantastic. The two originals songs Christmas Spirit and this one Christmas Mornings are superb. Wish there were more original songs since he is one of the greatest songwriters of all time. Certainly not a knock on him since the songs are all great. This is a timeless classic video. Listening to this, helps me realize with each passing Christmas, it gets more and more precious... Not to take anything away from my own childhood Christmases, as the lyrics go "what I wouldn't give to live it again"... But as I get older, my own joy reaches new heights when I see the excitement on the kids' faces, similar to mine when I was that young.
