Omg the hormone drip intensifys the pains!! 😅 all worth it though!! I was induced with both my girls for medical reasons and I actually preferred it as there's more control over when you'll go into labour. When your in labour you literally turn into superwoman 🥰

Congratulations ❤ I love hearing other people’s birth stories. I was also induced, at 37.6 weeks. I had a pessary, two gels, waters broken and the hormone drip. I found not being able to move of the bed (due to the monitoring) extremely uncomfortable. The drip for me was horrible as it made me contract continuously however it also gave me a super speedy labour at only 2 hours and 7 minutes of pushing 😮. Worth it in the end. Enjoy your little bubble and looking forward to seeing next video x
Oooh huuuuggeee congratulations to you both Han, River is such a cutie pie 💙 My first baby, is 6 months olds this week and he came by planned c-section because he was breech, and the cannula got me too- mine was in for a week as I developed preeclampsia, and I couldn’t look at it 😅 Take your time with everything and don’t worry if everything is up in the air for weeks, you’ll find your way as you get to know River and as he settles into a less frequent pattern of everything, its a bit relentless at first isn’t it! Love that you shared this with us, I’ve watched you since day 1 and whether you’re doing food challenges, hauls, vlogs, pure baby content I’m here for it all but only do what isnt a stress/what you enjoy making for us and take every minute of this special time in, babies make time fly like never before! 💙 He’s here!!!! Aww congratulations your sweet boy is here. My birth story is very similar for my first daughter, had a failed induction and went on the next day to have an emergency csection after not progressing. Then my next two children were planned caesareans. He is adorable, congratulations to both you and your partner. Love watching your videos, have missed your content. 💙✨️

Went into immediate full on contractions after the pessary, vomiting the whole time. 27 hours of agony and then emergency c section! Just had my second via planned c section. It’s all worthwhile 😅
Congratulations! I'm sorry to hear about the birth; I had an emergency C-section and remember how scary they are. It's frustrating how hospitals don’t always inform women about the risks of inductions. Nearly all of my friends who had one ended up needing a C-section. While researching different birthing options, I learned that inductions can be more intense and may distress the baby, often leading to an emergency C-section. Why don’t midwives inform us of these risks? I would prefer that women are given the option to choose a C-section directly to avoid distressing the baby.
It was traumatic honestly, didn’t feel like I was looked after at all either, after I felt for a long time that we were purposefully put into a dangerous traumatic and unnecessary stressful situation. Oh well.
That’s mad your boyfriend had to go home! I had a c section 3 weeks ago, and my fiancé was allowed to stay no matter the time. I didn’t realise some hospitals didn’t allow it! Hope you’re recovering okay and enjoying the newborn bubble with baby River xxx

What a long process, I’ve heard inductions can take an age. Must’ve been so frustrating for you, but as you say if it had to be a C Section then all that matters is the baby is healthy. Congrats to you both, he’s gorgeous and love his name x

Oh bless you iv been induced twice and both born within a hour and half once in active labour and 3 hours after being induced it felt so long, but 3 days 🥹❤ congratulations though hes gorgeous so glad your both ok, im guessing you had pre eclampsia like i did, my daughter was born 1.45 on the 24th april ❤🩷
Gosh when I got induced it was in 1987 I got my water broke they stretch my cervix I got put on the trip my baby arrived 5 hours later that was here in Australia congratulations to everyone on your baby boy 😊
Congratulations to you both ❤ it's crazy that your boyfriend had to go home i was allowed two birthing partners and my boyfriend stayed the whloe time. i had cessation too after failed hormone drip and they broke my waters. i had epidural before my drip though as they said that my contractions would be so intense as i was 3cm after they broke my waters i only got to 4cm 12 hrs on the drip so i feel your pain. my little boy heart rate kept going up and down too. i was 41+5 when i had him. so i was so over being pregnant. the ward is so overwhelming isnt it xx
