The Hero Xtreme 160R is powered by an updated single-cylinder, 4-valve 163cc, air-cooled engine which makes 16.9PS and 14.6Nm. For perspective, the bike, with its 2-valve head made 15.22PS and 14Nm. The engine comes paired to a 5-speed gearbox and the bike has a 12-litre fuel tank. The bike’s on sale in three variants (Standard, Connected and Pro), out of which you get a 37mm inverted KYB fork on the Pro trim, while you’ve to make do with a telescopic one on the other two. The 7-step preload-adjustable rear monoshock has remained unchanged. Braking duties are handled by a 276mm front disc and 220mm disc/130mm drum at the rear. The bike rolls on 17-inch wheels, which are wrapped in 100-section (front) and 130-section (rear, radial) tubeless tyres. The bike weighs 139.5kg (kerb) and has 167mm of ground clearance, along with a 790mm seat height.
