Mahomes & Nix are alike in that regard & both of them are very difficult to keep in the pocket. Nix throws a lot of off-platform stuff & since the Chiefs lost Tyreek Hill & Hardeman, their deep game has been replaced with a dink & dunk thing that looks a lot like what Nix was doing at Oregon. That idea should have never survived the velocity gun results in the NFL combine of course. Nix notched a 58 MPH score on that. That's in the upper echelons of NFL QBs. It's going to be interesting to see what Payton does with this guy, especially when you remember that Drew Brees' NFL career was virtually almost over with when Payton got him. Not only was he coming off a down year, but a nasty shoulder injury & couldn't even pass an NFL physical. Denver has this kid for 5 years on a rookie deal. Yeah Allen is good for sure. Wish Denver had drafted him. That being said, the Bills are beatable because Allen is to Bills what Elway was to Denver in the late 80's. Exceptional, but 1 person alone can't win everything. Bills have not built enough around him in my opinion. If he does win it all with this cast, HOF resume complete. Elway couldn't.
You're probably unaware of this, but Nix has been working with about 40% of Sean Payton's playbook over the first half of the year. Since the KC game they lost but should have won in Arrowhead, Nix's game has taken a quantum leap forward. Denver is averaging 32.6 ppg over the last 7 games since then. Prior to that? They were scoring 19 ppg. That's nearly a 2 TD jump. He's completing 70% of passes, thrown 19 TDs & only 6 picks, & his QB Rating is over 105. Those are pro bowl QB numbers coming from a rookie. If you think this is a cakewalk, remember than Denver beat the Bills in Buffalo last year with Wilson. Both teams are better now, but Denver is MUCH better.
@@MarkLewis-l3fI did not pay attention to how many points Denver has been scoring in the past 7 games!!! That's a huge stat, can't believe I missed that. Thank you for the info
Denver has a shot to win but the Bronco defense is not as good as everyone says. Teams can attack the middle linebackers and there isn’t anything they can do. It’s been a huge weakness all year and will be the reason they lose. Denver has to create turnovers and have a big special teams play
The middle linebackers leave something to be desired in pass pro (Singleton is out for the year) but pretending like they haven't been effective at stuffing the run and making open field tackles at a high level is a huge exaggeration. There's only been one or two situations where they've allowed explosive runs to get away from them. Considering Strnad was a special teams guy, I'd say it's nothing short of incredible. We'll see if they can hold up to the Bills, but they aren't slouches for sure.
@@sethnaffziger1402 totally agree with you. The entire team has been nothing short of amazing but that being said there has been more than a few times this season teams have just picked them apart in the pass game and it is super frustrating to watch with zero adjustment. We need a tight end, a middle linebacker and then I'd say a wide out. I'm waiting for Vele to take on the Ed McCaffery role. I think he can be a dominate WO.
@smokeygrif9589 Absolutely, I 100% agree with a good passing threat tight end as #1 priority. our tight ends are amazing blockers, and have good hands, but they aren't taken seriously in coverage, and it's proven not to be a mistake. another ILB would be good too (curious to see more of sanders, if I'm not mistaken they did line him up backing the line last weekend)... Also, Aside from the game against the ravens, they've only been sliced and diced up badly while Riley Moss was out- Abrams-draine definitely staunched the bleeding, but I think as long as Vance can avoid the temptation to hard call soft zone I think we're good. The key is going up early, when we're up a couple scores he can safely call plays far more aggressively (I am of the belief that we probably should anyway, and just rely on our front 7 to eliminate the risk, as long as Allen is healthy we've not struggled in the pass rush. (Though I will say I thought the chargers guards were holding bonitto/cooper on a few occasions, but 🤷♂️ that's the game)

Nix reminds me of Jake Plummer and Carson Wentz the year the Eagles won the SB before he got hurt.
I respectfully disagree, Bo is pretty much like Brees than anyone else.
Little Bo is going to get a real life lesson by his Papa Allen Sunday! 😂😂🎉🎉
I believe you are right but if you haven’t watched Nix play a lot this year you might be surprised. He’s a rookie and has those moments but he can play and he is super gritty. I just want it to be close and not a blowout. Good luck, I want the Bills to win the SB. Bills Lions would be a great game
Bo never fumbles for a lost, fyi! Yup for a whole season. Crazy fact, isnt' it?
Josh Allen has an Elite Arm. Bo Nix has an Average arm. They can both run well.
Bo is smart; otherwise, he wouldn’t be able to keep up with Sean's playbook. Remember Russell, right?
Bo could eventually develop into having an elite arm. His arm strength is pretty underrated I would say
Denver has a shot to win but the Bronco defense is not as good as everyone says. Teams can attack the middle linebackers and there isn’t anything they can do. It’s been a huge weakness all year and will be the reason they lose. Denver has to create turnovers and have a big special teams play
You act like they haven’t created any turnovers or haven’t had big special teams plays. 😂🤣😂🤣
@ no I'm not, I just simply said they will need to create that to have a chance to win.
