Thank sir am now getting more insight on how far Mack has gone though i haven't seen Mack anthem in my country but the video is so interesting to me because i like to learn every day, that's a nice video thank you sir.
@@LetstalkDIESEL Thx! I gotta say checking your channel is so much of pleasure as I rly wanna focus my mind for mechanic skills and learn as it will save you tons of $$$ in truck a bit and cars as well so thx will check for more for sure!
What threw me was trying to change the time on the radio. You can't do it from the radio. You have to do it from the truck dash display and the radio reads it and changes it within the minute
Very useful video, and I did subscribe. I do have one question: Where is the low air pressure warning light on this dash? And is it a symbol or does it just say "Low Air"?
Good question... there is two alerts, one that it says “BRAKE AIR” (middle bottom screen) and there is one message in your screen saying “Brake Air Supply Pressure Low”. And of course, the beeping sound coming from the dashboard. Thanks for watching.
If the automatic idle shutdown feature is on, I am afraid it is not possible unless the that feature is removed. You can idle your Mack pushing the button for cruise control then hit the gas to the desire rpm and press set after that. It will hold the rpm higher but I am not sure if your vehicle will not shutdown.
1. Look for system settings (from the main screen go up or down until you find it) 2. Press enter (the right bottom from the engine brake switch shifter on the right side of the steering column) in System Settings.
3. Once in system settings select Global units and press enter again. 4. Go down and select Metric and press enter. Note that this will change Temperature to Celsius and Miles to Kilometers.
The video was very helpful!
