This mixtape immediately brings me back to my best moments in high school. No other mixtape or song hits as hard as this one. The nostalgia is unreal.

This mix marks for me the age when I finished university. We had a group of 6 friends, 4 boys, 2 girls. We just finished the bachelor's degree, it was spring of 2014, and before the final exam, we would have to spend 3 and a half months working in the field we studied (viticulture and enology). Every one of us went separate ways. I was the only one who went abroad, so it also marked the distance, and the realization that the real adulthood is imminent. It is weird looking back how fast time goes by. As soon as I hear the the first song, and I close my eyes, I feel, sense, smell, taste everything that was happening at the time. The nostalgia. Goddamn guys, cherish every minute you have, because in a moment, all can change.
Exactly the same here, I wrote my dissertation to this mixtape in 2015. I was heart broken at the time with my first ex having just left me, but determined to get my 2:1. Such a myriad of emotions going on a mixture of trepidation and excitement to whats next and the stress of finishing the piece of work. The nostalgia is real!

Estava na Universidade e maravilhado com a vida e com a quantidade de amigos que estava fazendo e vislumbrando a paz de morar sozinho com tanta gente incrível ao meu lado. Época que eu era "inocente" e estava aprendendo muito. Hoje olhando para trás vejo quantos erros cometi e sinto uma saudade imensa daquela época, pois era tudo muito mais simples e se eu tivesse a maturidade que eu tenho hoje...não teria ido para diversos lugares onde encontrei pessoas que me fizeram um mal absurdo. Aos meus companheiros que conheci naquela época e que estão ao meu lado até hoje..só agradeço pela parceria e por terem construido uma família que não é de sangue mas que é idêntica à uma. Um salve e vida longa a todos vocês.. e provavelmente esse comentário jamais vai chegar até eles..mas obrigado por tudo, eu amo e sempre vou amar vocês, para sempre e sempre!

This was my favorite thing to listen to during a very dark time in my life. I was studying chemistry for hours and hours, late into the night, my eyes fighting sleep to finish that night's problems. I felt horrible about myself and the direction where my life was heading, but when I put this mixtape on, all that faded away. I'm happy to say I've made a positive change in my life, but I still come back to this music from my sophomore year to remind me of how far I've come

Oh my god. Havent listend to this mix since I first discovered it in 2016.. I immediately downloaded it. Later this day I met my friends and we sat down in a park. I started playing this song and we lied down in the grass and looked in the summer sky.. it was such an amazing feeling.. so happy, peaceful and unique.
