Well if symbolically heaven exists.. Then it's never been a cult. Only misunderstood interpretations by modern thinkers not the other way around. so in context,, it would be to actually pray for that from which good shines through to earth from, which is symbolically from above. to enrich the light upon the dark sides of our living and bring light into that which inhabits earth. So it's a prayer against wars, human crimes, evil.of all sorts and so on. It's a beautiful dying wish if your facts were true about it being a dying wish of a kid.
