(GBA) Donkey Kong Country 3 - Game Over (TAS) in

  • Dixie goes on her adventure to find that her super annoying yet obnoxiously cute cousin Kiddy is coming with her to save Donkey and Diddy. Dixie can't handle life anymore, she doesn't want to deal with him in an important event like this. Within about 10 seconds, Dixie decides to end her life, because she cannot handle the stress, as he is annoying him already. Dixie is extremely allergic to animal bites, therefore she dies instantly, while Kiddy can be bit six times before death.
    Kiddy is very sad that his cousin is dead, so he decides to do the same thing she did. He can't handle his cousin Dixie being out of the picture, not to mention he's a toddler that saw a traumatic experience just then. So he has to get bitten by rats 6 times before he can successfully die.

    Jokes aside, this TAS is not really anything special. I did it out of pure boredom. The beginning part before all the deaths was just stolen input from the beginning of my 103% TAS, because, why the hell would I want to recreate all that garbage just for this?
    Also, the deaths really aren't much special either. I tried my best to make the first death as entertaining as possible. Obviously, I had to kill the slower character, Dixie, first, and as fast as possible so that the faster character, Kiddy, can do the rest of the deaths throughout the TAS. In the first death, to explain why I took the time to backwards run for a few frames, I did that because 1.) It is a little more entertaining and unexpected and 2.) I wanted Kiddy to land on the hill, which is, believe it or not, many frames faster than dying on flat ground in this case. And since Dixie was killed by the last rat, there is a waiting time until Kiddy can be killed in that attempt. So, in TASing I say, if you have a wait, do some freerunning! Even just a little. It increases entertainment.
    Anyway, "entertainment", I don't expect anyone to find this the most entertaining thing in the world, but believe it or not it is completely optimized, so I don't really need criticism unless you can find an optimization.
    Oh by the way, if you don't know who I am, and you haven't picked up that I am creating big TAS projects of this game, well, I am. Expect at least an any% and a 103% to come mainly from me one day, I'm working on these currently, and I DO plan to finish them. So please subscribe for more TASes from me of this game, and maybe some others.
    And don't ask/complain to me about the quality, I don't know why it's bad. :/ That's weird, the quality is like perfect on AVI but on TH-cam it just looks horrid...
