LAKE SKADAR National Park and Rijeka Crnojevica in MONTENEGRO - Must-See Attraction

Lake Skadar National Park is one of the amazing places in Montenegro. Definitely one of the must-see attractions. The unique nature park, unbelievable landscapes, many different kinds of birds, and peaceful atmosphere.
Usually, your group tour starts from the Crnojevica River (Rijeka Crnojevica), which is pretty narrow at the starting point. And getting wider when you get closer to Skadar Lake (Skadarsko Jezero) itself. In this case, your journey ends in the small fisherman’s village - Virpazar.
Or you can get on your own to Virpazar (by bus, train or car). And hire a boat for a private tour. Or you can rent a canoe/kayak.
Visiting Skadar Lake National Park is maximally convenient if you’re having a rest on the Montenegrin coast - on the Budva Riviera, in Bar or Sutomore. It’s also very close to Podgorica - the capital of Montenegro. Actually, you can see a part of Lake Skadar when you’re going from Podgorica to Budva or Bar.
