Thank you IamMikeFelix!!! I had a lot of fun making it too! The reason I bought prompter was for my daily Zoom calls. For the few I have used it with, it really changes the game to look directly to who you are speaking with.
That’s great news Jason!!! I just did my Part 2 video here and when I checked last week, it looked like it was delayed till late April. th-cam.com/video/VulFZt097Lc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=YL1mMfll18wVkCsg Again great news! You won’t be disappointed! Thank you for the watch and encouraging words!
Hey Matt- great review. Got a question- I’ve noticed a hazing/ghosting effect to the video when I am using the prompter for zoom calls. This is worse if the person I’m speaking to has a bright background. Only workaround to eliminate the haze with a bright screen is to reduce the display brightness to like 30%. Is this a standard flaw with teleprompters and to be expected? Or do you think I got a faulty unit? Curious if you’ve had to reduce your brightness too for Teams calls?
Yeah I notice the same thing. Any white backgrounds I try and switch or like you said, dim the screen. On that note, I have not had anyone complain or comment before. I think your unit is probably fine.
Correct AdamDelon. I just installed the low profile mic arm and it works great. It is much more stable than the Ulanzi camera arm. So when I am typing, my camera is not shaking anymore. I will do a follow up video this weekend for you!
@@LifeOfaMatt - thank you for clarifying this. I'd like to see this in action. I have the other mic arm (the normal/raised version) of the elgato mic arm. I was toying with the idea of using this but wasn't sure of the stability. I do get the desk a little shakey whilst typing, even on the mic arm which only has my mic atm. I have a pretty sturdy standing desk but I dare say that this is an issue. How would you go about fixing this?
So today alone, I have had 6 seperate zoom meetings and the low profile mic arm has been GREAT!!! Very stable! My Ulanzi stand is fine for just the Opal C1 but with the added prompter weight, it just bounced too much plus it would take some time to stablize after the shake started to happen. The low profile arm holds up really well. I am also on a standing desk which is very stable too regardless if it is low or high. I will definetly do a review video of Prompter and new arm for the Sunday AM posting. I recommend it! Both the arm and prompter were purchased on my own dime too.
No problem @@AdamLopezDelon and THANK YOU!!! I'm coming up to my 1 year since starting TH-cam and I am so close to the 1000 sub mark! I have beyond what I need for watch hours. Comments like these are the reason why I keep on creating!
Great video. Never thought about the Zoom application. 🔥

Hi IamMikeFelix! Here is my follow up vide on Prompter and HOW I use Zoom with it! th-cam.com/video/VulFZt097Lc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=mQ9U_Zo49d8iqPbf
Enjoy!
Finally ordered mines today. Elgato says its backordered and should ship between Feb 2 - 15. They should be more readily available soon. Great video!

@@LifeOfaMatt thanks for the reply Matt. I thought so it’s been an acceptable fault so didn’t end up returning it.
@@shriramrabinthiran7487 Good show! Yeah, I use mine daily, and it is great. Elgato just released an update which appears to have fixed all the bugs!
You say that you would mount it to a elgato low profile mic arm? Is this correct?
