S9 - E5 - Today was all about the Blues and the BBQ's

Today we continue to immerse ourselves in the history of the Mississippi blues. Blues Trail markers riddle the countryside giving insight to the history of the blues and marking the locations where places or events shaped the blues and our understanding modern music. We explored parts of the Natchez Trace and ride through plantations of cotton. The food, well, that goes without saying. It’s a menu of soul food, BBQ, and sweet tea. Before arriving at our hotel, we visited the B.B. King Museum. The museum commemorates the famous blues artist B.B King, who was born in the area. Tonight we stayed in the Town of Indianola and take in the local flavors of the Mississippi delta.
