If I have to go through that many steps just to have double screens I might as well mount my phone on the windshield, and save tons of time and watch things off my phone while in my car.

How about a black iPad for 200$ stick 2 strips of velcro each side of the monitor and behind the iPad . Stick it over the the monitor and hook up Bluetooth for sound . You now have yourself a 300$ computer in your car with quick access to anything you want . Videos . Music . TH-cam Netflix pornhub . Awsome for work ... Open emails with one touch . The velcro system is obviously a low budget DIY or for dummies but you can easily created a nice rack system to hold your iPad over the stock monitor and slide up and down to have quick Access to stock radio commands . Ps that 500$ system is a bit expensive for what it does ...
