It was very hard to remove. The gum was stuck on the windshield. Then i used some oil and rubbed it without scratching the windshield. It took around 20 min and you can see the result. Its better to use any hair dryer.

You shouldn't stick the fastag in the windshield to begin with. I own a transport company and I have dozens of vehicles, I turn a normal fastag into a card, by simply pasting a transparent polythene sheet at the sticker side, and then I use tape to stick the fastag into the windshield as a card. This way in case of windshield damage you won't lose the fastag and simply take out the fastag as a card.

@@sachinkartv your idea is nice. But there is a possibility that the fastag can be stolen, If they can get into the car. Indirectly stealing the car's identity. I'm also looking for some alternative methods to stick the fastag

@@devAppian if fastag safe-keeping is an priority then buy a transparent ID-card holder and stick it on your windshield leaving the card opening (usually on the upper side) accessible. Now once you've turned your fastag into a card as I've mentioned above, simply carry your card in your wallet and slide it in your windshield whenever you wanna use it.
