It’s not. Soundodger and JSaB only share the “bullet hell to music” aspect. They both control differently (arrow keys vs mouse movement) and have very different attacks (lasers/bombs vs a focus on specific bullet variations with more bullet-hell). Though I do think that you could recommend one to someone enjoys the other.
@TerraSketch absolutely check out more stuff about the game if you can, just like GD it’s got a lot of custom levels and even without them it’s super cool and underrated

If I remember correctly it’s one hit and your dead (might be wrong) and the dot is controlled with your mouse
If you take enough hits back to back you die - if you get hit and manage to avoid getting hit again long enough, your health regenerates. There are hearts in most levels that when collected fully heal you immediately and block the next hit you take - but they double as a collectible, you’ll have to hold on to them until the end of the level without taking damage if you want to get that bonus
Soundodger 2 is super underrated, I definitely recommend checking out more stuff from it!
