Unfortunately, Data Architecture as we once knew it is dead. It was thrown out with the move to the cloud platforms; along with systems and application architecture. Oh, the terms "data architecture" and "data architect" still exist, but they have been repurposed to mean what we would have called "cloud platform administration" and "administrator," respectively. What this means is that data governance is relegated to being reactive (i.e. cleaning up messes) and no longer has a proactive component.
Thank you Denise. This is most probably the very best Data Management explanation that I've ever seen.

Thanks for the video. A huge amount of work was certainly done to create it! In data architecture, don't we also need to discuss data infrastructure?
This was the most helpful video I have seen! Do you have a pdf of the entire graphic you can share?
Thank you Amanda. You can find a downloadable A3 size print here: www.slideshare.net/DeniseHarders/data-mangement-what-is-it-print-a3-115004805

This was great, but there were too many animations that I found very distracting. Had to watch this a few times
It's a bit quick indeed, but I am glad to read you weren't drawn back by it and viewed it multiple times 😅
Should be starting with data architecture after data governance
cool

a hand flickering throughout the video prevented me from watching the video.
