"We Never Learn" is a really fun manga to read in between. I wasn't expecting much but then I couldn't stop reading the first volume xD It was very funny. Hope you will like it, too ^^

Nice haul! Durarara light novel #8 is oop, so get ready for a hunt. It took me a while, but I was lucky to get it randomly from amazon japan with free shipping for not a crazy price. It's really refreshing to read it as it brings flashbacks from the anime schenes. Now I'm waiting for some more volumes to come with the rest of Arakawa volumes next month. Also I'm waiting for the second volume of Durarara sh to come in my comic book shop to pick it up😀

i'm not sure if they want to wait until the series is finished so they know how many total volumes there will be but ?? they do that with one piece so ya idk what is going on there especially since they announced the demon slayer one right after the final volume came out but idk what viz is doing maybe they hate money like yen press 😂

Dope haul! going to give durarara a rewatch (dropped it on ep 3 before) since you have quite literally the highest regard for it, also im doing the same thing with black clover and mha, picking up volumes little by little cause there is soooo many of them, anyways great vid and nice music!

@@tsukkinotes I guess compared to my area yours were heat! In my area legit people clear the shelves and just leave Negima & Love Hina for the rest of us 😂we have a lot of scalpers where I am at and they have moved on even to manga sadly.
I love going to HFB. especially if you know how to hunt. you won’t always find something every time you go but when you do you strike gold. I saw some things in this vid I’d love to have like nodame cantabile and 3 single volumes of vagabond. nonetheless cool vid

that was me with mha too! i did not intend to collect the manga and was happy with reading it online and watching it, but then for christmas my sister got me some volumes and i was like...might as well get them then 😳
theres a book off thats near me in orange county! i lovee going there since sometimes there'll be a good find! i detest driving in LA omg, i get so scared and nervous since driving around there is like a zoo
yes haha once you have a taste of something it's easy to go all in so i think i'll probably end up with all of mha eventually, and nice! ya i love book off but agreed i hate driving in LA

😮I took a small trip to Corpus Christi in Texas where I live to visit my stepsister at her college we went to Half Price and I found the last volume of Demon Slayer but my hometown didn't get till a month later at Barnes and Noble and my friends asked how I got it way earlier

I missing like 6 volumes of Haikyu! I got the rest of the series for a good price so I guess I'll pay retail for the rest. I wish Spare Bike got an English release but I'll read the scans soon!
im missing like 24 lol but like i said maybe the winter sale will have them again this year,, and the fact that yen press is putting some yowapeda volumes out of print already gives me very low hope for spare bike but i'll always keep manifesting it

I was surprised when you said you went to every hpb in your state. five seemed like very few. So I looked it up. I didn't realize that my state had way more than every other state.

tbh the ones in cali are not the best, book off in the LA area is way better but whenever i see people go to them in other states they always look stacked
@@tsukkinotes I ended up going to one about 15 minutes from me and it looked completely ran through just a bunch of titles that nobody would want and random volumes of those. There was a lot of unopened boxes maybe they were about to restock it up or something. I'll try it again later.

also w hq 45 the demand for it is so high that the quality on them has just gone down? ig n not just for hq but a lot of mainstream manga. it’s kinda disappointing but yk covid n everything.
ya for sure, been seeing a lot of misaligned spines etc for the popular series, in this instance i think it was the stores fault or how they were packaged like every volume 45 looked like someone hit the top with a hammer lol

I’ve been to those half price books as well and they are terrible! Most of the prices are literally $1 off the retail value😑. I don’t support them anymore, now I buy from right stuf or B&N. Half price books does that because they know people from the manga community go to look for cheap manga. 🤦🏽♂️😑
oof ya i mean the ones i got were half price other than the new volumes but i know what you mean, i've seen others go into hpb and things are priced according to their rarity like suddenly they know what volumes are oop which is kinda discouraging
