8:46--The large size LE Smith trophy vase! Dude! OOOOH, WOW! My history group has an event in Xenia this weekend. I definitely need to go. Our Victorian definitely needs a dose of Village Salvage. Waynesville??
All the shops were wonderful. But that first shop was FANTASTIC!!!And the scenery was great too. I loved seeing the old original buildings with their store front window displays. I love that look…the displays demand your attention and the excitement builds up slowly as you browse the window for what’s coming as you walk towards the door. So retro and so wonderful! ❤
Lorraine, thank you so much! Rusty & Chippys is an easy place to film! No matter where you point the camera, it looks wonderful! I appreciate you watch & comment!
As someone extremely directionally challenged, I can appreciate that you often aren’t sure where you are. Haha I love Richard’s face when you say the wrong city. It’s the face you also get when he needs a snack when out shopping. ❤ I don’t think I’ve ever watched one of your videos where you don’t make me laugh a few times and smile a LOT. Love you both and seeing you so happy.
I can spend one entire day in each store. The peachy/pink frosted glass with clear glass love birds (Taiwanese) is especially delicate. And talking about love…you two look at each other lovingly with sparks of ardor.
Love those shoes on 13.45 Those tall apophocaryjars are amasing Gorgeous Flemishbox! Those vases realy popped on that dark background I love salvation pieces Gooing thrifting tomorrow Thank you for sharing X
WOW!! So many great stores!! That first store , I would have been there for hours. Loved how it was a mix of things. Also We always enjoy your shopping tours, and how you explain items. We learn as you shop... Hello Richard!! Thanks again for another great post..
I always love your shop with me videos, you and Richard are so much fun. And I love all the beautiful things you show us God Bless you both and take care.😊❤
I don't get why breaks and cracks bother people so much. This stuff is OLD. Be like the Japanese - repair it and preserve its beauty and integrity. And I love the devil pitcher. Great price.
I don't mind it chipped or not I could try to fix it up I did have a dragon vase once and it was cracked and I lost it to a fire 🔥 but I'm trying to find another one no biggie but what you were finding was great especially the blue 💙 stuff bottles and vases

The creativity in this shop is beyond…marbles in an oil lamp? I’m so impressed! I want to make the trip from Chicago just to see this in person. I’d love to stay at the Scioto Inn. I’m going to Google how close this shop is to your Inn.
I love the lamp better without handles ❤ Im not a fan of handles. I adore the shop vendor's sense of humor.Doll heads, hands, unside down dolls, love it 😊
The marble lamp appears to have an AM initial on it. Perhaps it is for Ave Maria and possibly was an architectural / altar piece originally. There are also missing handles, and the socket looks a bit forced into a "filling" suggesting a true hollow urn. Interesting. nice find.
I literally live abt 20mins away from Waynesville, but I haven't been in forever. I'm a sucker for just abt anything glass, but I have to admit, it's not been fun packing my collections to move! lol I'm going home to SC, so I have tons of bubble wrap & paper. Wish I could find good homes for some of my milk glass before I move, but no one seems interested. I know it'll be a big hit back home. Thxs for sharing. I enjoyed the trip!💖
Definitely nothing boring about letting your camera linger over the search of the old photographs. I've been collecting old photos (all formats and different subjects such as male/female drag and same sex couple affection, Civil War, minorities, freaks, post mortem, etc.) for almost 60 years.
Great video Michael! These shops were really cool. Too bad the gorgeous lamp you bought was broken…..but I’m thrilled you guys got it anyway. I loved that long wooden box.
How do you define a 2 piece china cabinet to find it's value. it's got a top/bottom. 3 shelves top, 4 doors but only 2 open and 2 drawers on the bottome piece with 2/2 door cabinets above the drawers. It's old. I have3 no idea how old or the maker.
I love the way you two look at each other! Blessed! ❤
Thanks Michael and Richard that was fun that’s a nice town thanks for taking us with y’all 🦋
Thank you, Diane! I appreciate the watch and comment! ❤️

Isnt Xenia the town that was almost completely flattened by a tornado in the 70s, and also featured in the movie “Gummo”
There was a tornado. I don't remember all the details, but It's a great town now.
Yes, it is! There is a particular corner in the town that tornados like to go through!!

I agree, personally. I can see why some would prefer "pristine." I guess it all depends on the final look you are going for.

It's about a 30-minute drive. From there, Waynesville is another. 20mins

Great video! I love the lamp!
We are definitely going to be enjoying it! I love the fact that it has a peachy tone to it rather than the traditional "white" marble.
Gah, the long Flemish Box was my favorite. And harassing, is that what the kids are calling it nowadays? You two make me silly happy.
🤣🤣☺️
This is a great video!
Yes, the "kids" are wearing clothes from the 60's and 70's!
Thank you, Joan! I tried my best at elevating the editing! ❤️

Oh Hello guys...
Great video Michael! These shops were really cool. Too bad the gorgeous lamp you bought was broken…..but I’m thrilled you guys got it anyway. I loved that long wooden box.
Those over sized coins were very common in tourist trap type places in South Dakota. :)
❤❤❤
Great video brother!!!!
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
