Yep. My dad got one late 78 or early 79? Any of that stuff transfer it soon. My dads first few expensive vhs tapes are the only ones that held up. The cheaper quality is snow and audio remains. Im not tech savvy really and could have rescued it to a friends computer 10 years ago when he offered. I screwed up!
When i lived in NYC, there was an old Chinese lady on the 7 train who used to play one of those "Magical Musical Things" for money--it made a terrifyingly annoying noise in person in the confined metal tube of a subway car, but i can't lie that i'd LOVE to have one now. I'm totally jealous of the train-lady in hindsight.
Why Bugs wasnt included in the Daffy/Speedy hour. Rumors are...he liked a little vodka with his morning carrot juice. Often showing up later and later to the stage...he started kissing other actors during scenes that didnt call for it. He was consistantly threatening new directors to do "certain favors' or they would never work in this town again. But the last straw came when he punched Chuck Jones for having him dress up as a girl rabbit AGAIN!
I can see the over the tops, the short comings and tech. I know I'm becoming that generation that is saying the same as the previous generation. But come on, what toys and breakfast cereals do they have to look forward too?
I already mentiond Odyysee in a prior comment, but one thing I would love to have is the Spiderman and his Amazing Friends credits/bumpers from back in the day. Those are hard to find in full, especially the ones wit the Encredible Hulk hour. *sigh* I was born in 1984.
