@@duolcraed9457 According to the script, he had to treat her thus to protect her against the evil manipulating queen (his step mother) because if he showed affection, her life would be in danger. Really stupid reason but then it worked because it got the audience hating him and rooting for her, and it mad me feel sadder because the frustrating thing is they really loved each other, especially proved, at the end of the story.

@@bread6366 in 1 interview he said he feel depressed everytime he read hate comments. He even got sick for a month when the drama was broadcasted. Its only my opinion after what he have gone through after it. He did not said the real reason why he rejected twice the offer with Xiaoran again, which according to Google news, he never even read the script. In another interview he just said he doesnt want to portray the same character again. But he cant deny it made him really famous where he is now
