It can take years to develop cancers from dioxins- old men don't have to worry. Young people and women who can get pregnant are most at risk. Common mutation from dioxin toxicity is hermaphradotism.

One thing being glazed over is the fact that after Ohio and the Feds lit this toxic nightmare on fire all those particles came back down in rain and snow over most of New York State, New England and our neighbors to the north in Canada. What goes up comes back down and they turned a local/regional toxic site into a multi state and international one.

But like ALL government agencies they seek more and more control, more and more regulations. Like the EPA, wanting to control ANY water a person has on their property. We should not be depending on the Federal gov anyway , States should be taking care of their business.
Let me give you another example. Big Corp GETS to sale contaminated food, they can have , rat feces, animal hair, maggots, insect parts etc. in their food or drink. Food they sale US, But I with a clean kitchen , with NO bug or rodent problem, sterilizing all my equipment and following government requirements for home canning, can't sale my products.

Go watch the interview with the guy saying how the can "get" anyone.

To put it simply, nobody was honest about Flint Michigan, why would they be honest about this town that wasnt on any news radar until February 2023?

Sadly it’s another incident where our government has let the American people down. They should’ve stepped up and gotten majority involved with the cleanup but they would rather send our money and support across the pond instead of helping the people of our country. Just my opinion.

Do you know the channel Status Coup? They cover this extensively. They are also still covering the poisoned water crisis in Flint, Michigan 10 years on. It is still unresolved.

It's that this happened , they were going to treat the waste water here in Baltimore County a mile or so from my house, I think that the residents fought not to bring it here, in the end after our government said that it would not come here, but we are still getting it. As for living there, if I had children, I wouldn't . But at my age and knowing that a house is a hell of a lot better than living in this small camper, if somehow I was to get a deal, I would have no problem with moving there into an abandoned house, at my age and health issues a little chemical issue is not no big problem

I feel terrible for this people, imagine having to leave because you don't want your family to get sick or even worse that maybe you can't afford to leave and and having no choice to stay and possibly killing your family....frig

It depends on the proximity to the site. If your main concern is drinking water, you could have your own analysis made in a reputable lab and find neighbors who would pick up a share of the cost if you were to do it on a monthly or quarterly basis. Same can be done for the soil around your property once if you're not really close to the site. It only becomes really problematic when you have kids, because kids play everywhere outside and especially so near small creeks and you just cant keep them on a leash and its quite obvious that this creek is a longterm problem even if water quality normalizes, toxins seep into the creek bed and may get stirred up again for a number of reasons - if its a major river, this issue would not persist very long due to high flow of water.
But if you prefer to just distrust without knowing, you gotta move elsewhere and hope that place hasn't been polluted previously. Undisclosed toxic contamination from a long time ago is a widespread issue in the US. Heck, people build their houses on top of 150 year old mines because nobody bothered to tell them and then get a surprise sinkhole in their living room - the devil-may-care attitude is a thing on the local government level too.

You can simply put a sub pump in those creeks and pump that water out into a treatment facility or a storage tank until you can treat it. I don’t understand why nobody’s doing anything.

you need to agitate the soil because the molecules you are looking for are not necessarily water soluble.

The governor of that state is the one who gave the order to burn all of those chemicals so evidently he would be then held liable for any damages, healthwise or other

It's in the soil of the river, the water might be cleaned up, but it goes into the soil, so it doesn't actually help, and I don't believe the EPA! 🤷🏼‍♀️
I most definitely would not want to live there, not just because I don't like that part of the U.S., because it's just too humid for me, but because I don't believe a thing that the EPA says!
