As a competitive gymnast for 6 years yeah backflips are SUPER hard. Usually it only becomes necessary around level 5. Most gymnasts stop before level 5 due to the fact that it’s difficult to flip and it takes a lot of courage and risk. 4 - 5 is the levels where I got hurt the most (broken fingers). THE STAIRS 😭✋
Literally just relizied that 🥲
As a competitive gymnast for 6 years yeah backflips are SUPER hard. Usually it only becomes necessary around level 5. Most gymnasts stop before level 5 due to the fact that it’s difficult to flip and it takes a lot of courage and risk. 4 - 5 is the levels where I got hurt the most (broken fingers). Generally, most gymnasts instructions from coaches is don’t do anything outside of the gym that you are not comfortable doing alone.
I am also a competitive gymnast and I also did gymnastics for 6 years I'm a level 8 gymnast and haven't broken or sprained a single limb or body part sore muscles muscle pain yes but other then that no and I didn't quit gymnastics because I love it it's my passion it's what I love to do although I don't want to be an Olympic gymnast but I really love to be in the air and flip and all that just fyi I'm 11 I started gymnastics at 5 because I couldn't walk well I would kick myself and trip so my aunt sent me for gymnastics and I love it don't plan on quitting even though I don't want to be an Olympian
I do parkour and backflip are like the base for start this sport
After two years, I can’t do a properly backflip 😂
I can confirm, this so hard but I think when you have the technical and a good practice physical, it’s all in the head
when I use some of my tricks and manage to push my fear away, I can do backflip but it’s like sometimes not all the time
(sorry if my English is bad, I’m French :)
@@toadarmy_ whats crazy is this comment is 2 years old. Since then I have gotten a job as a gymnastics and parkour coach!
@@deemfx I’m so happy for you congratulations ✨

This girl: Can I have it too??
God: sry out of stock

😂
jontron took it
me : can I not have a backbone

Out of stock cuz they had to give every dad 2 spines so that they can't even touch their toes.
@@Pikachew675 God: I have overstocked back bones now😂

@@michellerabey6637 she swung her legs around, I believe. That's what it looked like so... 🤷🏻♀️
@@michellerabey6637 or just switched tbh it's late and I'm tired, so I'll try again when I'm fully awake.

@@michellerabey6637 i think she made a circle with one of her leg and let the other one continue it normally to be able to land and stand up, to try it out it would be better to do it in an opened space and have something soft under you
That helicopter cartwheel was just 🤩💅
it's a helicopter walkover

I can just imagine the pain and torture she had to go through it gives me chills down my spine just thinking about it
Huh?
What?
???
Basically rhythm gymnastics you’re forced to stretch out really really hard
@@Clearlymeowshorts well that doesn't happen all the time but your right that it does sometimes happen
Sorry if this doesn't make sense I didn't know how to word it
“a backflip is just a form of backhand springs”
“so a backhand spring but no hands? ohh”
“well, no”
Even if she can’t do a backflip I think the tricks she does really cool!

Whatever dude just stop spamming unrelated comment threads with your nonsense.
Pretty sure she can do a backflip if she wanted to. She has all the necessary skills and building blocks.
Yeah... Just find a pool and go for it.
Shes probably afraid of the motion. She cant support herself when doing a backflip and that makes her uncomfortable. Then again Im not a gymnast and know nothing about it so I could be wrong
Everyone talking about how impressive she is
Me: wondering how her elbows are bending like that
She's likely hypermobile. A lot of dancers and gymnasts are, and the rest train themselves to be close to it. It just means that the joints have a higher range of motion than is normal. It's a genetic thing that is usually totally harmless.
Me who can’t do anything but a backflip 😭
Nobody talking about the amount of medals she has.
