Another great film from your collection. I have missed out on Rugeley - never realised it was such a good photographic location. IO especially liked the distant zoom shots, which really accentuated the 'tunnel' effect of the catenary - makes for good framing of the train. I am also amazed at how 'lively' the ride was over the track and curves there! Just goes to show how good the Mk3 coach was for the comfort and stability of its ride. Thanks for taking the time to produce and share this film - much appreciated.
Superb, I used to enjoy watching the 86/87’s fly along. My parents live right next to the west coast mainline in Tamworth so I never had to go far to watch the trains
