Oops, Gruul Turf, not Golgari Rot Farm. On my end, I did my usual of two bundles and all four precons, stripping them for parts for my other decks. Although I'm skipping MH3 and Bloomburrow... probably still getting some singles though.
May I suggest Nahiri's Lithoforming for the deck? This has proven to be ine of the most invaluable card in my Hazezon deck. Sigil Captain, Mardu Woe-Reaper, Goblin Anarchomancer, Knight of the Reliquary, and Maja, Bretagard Protector are all great cards to consider as well, and I would have suggested Rienne, Angel of Rebirth, but most of the creatures you've listed are not multi-colored, and the ones that are are the tokens, so they won't return to your hand anyways. Whirlwind is a great removal since you have very few flyers, and Constant Mists is a phenomenal, but very spicy, way to protect yourself and team, or play politics. Aura Shards is like this too since its a "may" card. At worst, these two cards bait out a lot of removal which would otherwise be used against other important things. Incandescent Aria can also be great if you have your Knight of New Alara out, Nissa, Vital Force can be a great addition, and finally, the lowly Village Elder can work really well in the deck. Edit(addition) forgot about the newer card Worldsoul's Rage.
wdym Yuma is "too expensive at 8 mana"? Did you read the card? He costs 1 less for each land in your graveyard. He's clearly the most powerful option and certainly the one built for the deck
I think the thought process is that you need to get deserts in the gy first before Yuma becomes "cheap". Hazezon just comes out turn 3 as long as your colors are online.
@@alexanderibarra6386 i mean, sac land turn one, turn two self mill (wayfinder for example) turn 3 set up + another sac land, by turn 4 you can cast him and that isn't unreasonable. Sure it's harder to set up, but that is what the deck is about: getting lands into your graveyard. hazezon just feels like a bad ramunap excavator with some decent token generation while Yuma's tokens actually are a threat plus you get a sac outlet and card advantage. More setup? Sure. Bigger payoff? Definitely
@unstable7505 I was talking specifically about the mana value. Like Hazezon will probably be consistently out sooner. Yuma IS probably the stronger of the two though.
Sorry but I’m kinda disappointed with this list. You blew most of the budget of Crucible of Worlds and Archdruids charm. Then failed to add in absolute winners in a Hazezon list like Impact Tremors, Warleaders Call, Goblin Trenches, Nahiri Lithoforming, Zuran Orb etc.. heck, even Glorious Anthem on a budget. I’d genuinely prefer to have a Scapeshift over a Crucible of Worlds in this deck. The Commander wants you to Sac and replay Deserts. Not basics or fetch lands. AND he can replay them by himself.. So there’s no added benefit of playing additional ways to play lands from your GY, other than for a Glacial Chasm lock. They’re literally dead cards because other than fetch lands, there’s no way to sacrifice your non-Desert lands?? I was genuinely looking forward to this video, but I feel like this was a half baked attempt at building a list. Feel like there was little to no research done for this video. Sorry mate, I really enjoy your other videos, but this was a miss for me. I was hoping to see some interesting cards I may have missed.
Problem with all the new commanders and decks is that they are getting too similar in theme and all using the same powerful cards. How many decks do I need to play with scute swarm, kodama, crucible of worlds, ramunap, etc. no point to play this deck. I like decklists that have unique themes and use “trash cards” lol, or more accurately, under appreciated cards, higher cmc cards, etc. otherwise I’ll play cedh
