Soar Philip Nope, they're listening. I think that's a much better way to appreciate a musician's work than screaming and cheering all over the damn song like a braindead puberting teenager. They're all moving to he beat and just enjoying the show - let the man sing.

With that gigantic knowledge backing me up (not really) I'm gonna try and answer to what I understood: I'm not saying that you should act like a Zombie at a concert, nor am I saying that you shouldn't sing along (it's actually a great compliment to the Artist when you know their lrics, I know as much). It's Performances where the audience are simply screaming their heads off not only to wlecome or applaud an Artist (which, again, is fine) but all over a song so that you can't even hear/understand the singer anymore. That's not living or enjoying a song, that's ruining it. So to that I prefer an audience that is capable of listening. Also it depends on the song as well, some are basically made to be sing along to (Like "Sing!") but some just deserve to be listened to. You can still cheer loudly afterwards and Dance like crazy to the next song. Emphasis is key. Buenos dias, muchacho.^^
