Nice to hear. Early House had a distinct sound. In the great city of Toronto, we didn't have an official Dance music channel. Thanks to University radio stations such as Ryerson University 88.1 FM and UofT's 105.5 for the few hours that students put on a few hours a day. If it weren't for them, I would never have experienced the House music movement.
