Taylor and Laura always bring the absolute best in each other as actors, those final scenes, the pain, the emotion, the talent... I don't know two better actors who fit so well together. I wish they could work with each other forever, their chemistry is out of this world.

It's missing the scene with Alex sitting on the floor after she broke up with Piper , which was important because it showed how much it broke her heart doing what she thought was best for Piper.
I'm glad Alex and Piper stayed together after all they've been through... I wasn't cool with any other alternative ending that would've been too predictable and easy...
Taylor's acting during the scene at 25:56 was phenomenal. Couldn't help but cry with Piper, such a heartbreaking moment. So glad these two seemed to have worked things out in the end
That flashback before their first visitation, made me tear up so much! Alex's fear of holding Piper back and to a lesser extent her fear of Piper leaving her, drove all of their problems in Season 7. Piper was in, probably the most in she'd ever been and it was beautiful to see that growth in her. She truly was new Piper and nobody could truly see it. I'm watching Season 3 right now and I have to keep reminding myself how Piper is in Season 7 is so much better because Season 3 Piper is.....frustrating! That scene where they break up kills me, when Alex gets up and turns away from Piper and breaks down just kills me! So glad they worked it out though!
Alex's calm way of telling Piper that she's transferred to Ohio and thinks that a breakup is best reminds me of Piper's proposal in season 5. In both scenes Alex seemed calm. But during the proposal she was dying from happiness and in this very scene eroding from her own words. And Taylor's acting is truly magnificent during the whole scene. As usual.

No that would have defeated the point of their relationship. The long wait was meant to show the growth in Piper and Alex. If they could get though that then you know they would stay together for the rest of their lives. Also I think Alex's sentence in total was around 4 years but I'm not sure

But in the series, Jenji had the great idea (THANK U lol) to put Piper and Alex in the same prison. I guess Piper Kerman gave to Jenji her blessing to do it, so thanks to her too :P

As an amateur writer, I make a few comments about Orange is the new Black 1 - Alex and Piper's wedding, they would ask her to have enlivened with scenes from a party held outside the prison. With friends, dances and interspersed moments. It would have been more enjoyable. 2, - We saw about 100 hours, the entire series, the 7 seasons, and we only saw, hopefully Alex and Piper smiling at the end. That means a lot, but it wouldn't have been better, placing 3 years later and seeing Alex get out of prison. Piper is undoubtedly waiting for her. They give each other a big hug and 1 kiss and there ends Season 7. In the hope that later post pandemic, the story continues, with both living a life together and undoubtedly out of prison. Wouldn't it have been more pleasant? Let's not forget that the central couple are Alex and Piper. I'm just saying, have given them a preferential place. Was it too much to ask? I suppose not.
I think #1 is a good idea. 2 is not because it is not thematically consistent with the ending. In the end, they wanted Piper showing that she can sacrifice, and be happy. It isn’t ALL about Alex. It’s about Piper’s development as a human being, allowing herself to be happy in her current circumstances. Which is why they chose not to officially reunite the couple permanently. That would’ve been wish fulfillment and would’ve been too easy given Piper’s history. The ending is good as is

It's a great show but here's the thing I don't understand. Piper was the main character in this so why did they keep it going after she got out? I mean I'm glad they did but it just always made me wonder why.
They used piper as a way to get viewers to watch the show as piper is cauasian and is straight laced and comes from a waspy background. It helped to bring in viewers that normally wouldn't watch this show. Then they were able to bring the rest of cast of color to the forefront

Se incluyeron historias nuevas y malas, no se terminaron las historias viejas, 2 grandes protagónicos terminaron locas.
