Railroad street running is so cool! When I was a little boy, I used to see a long freight train running on the street in person in Trenton NJ in street running Railroad many years ago. IT WAS SO COOL! 😎
I don't know - there are companies that get freight there, but there are also materials being used for the reconstruction of the Marine Terminal, so it could be anything
On the topic of SIMS Metal... The last I heard of Grafton & Upton No. 12 was that she was at SIMS Metal on the other side of the river: Richards Lane/Rome Street in Newark. So if anyone sees a GE 70 tonner with a cab that got chopped down to fit in the subway tunnels floating around Newark, do let me know.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,that engine had a cool horn,,,,,no K5LA,,,,,,,but very cool.............anyone know the horns designation numbers......................Retired railfan horn guy ,,, would know.......

Now that's the way to flag traffic!
I thought the pipe company shut down when they built Costco. Wonder where those pipes were going.

@@RiverRailPhotothere are alot of different agencies in the building if you get my drift
Could those pipes have been steel piles?
Nice action - thanks for sharing! Do they really need two engines for that amount of cars?
