I might have a worse fail for ToFM final stretch and I have recording of it. Might start uploading some of my recorded completions. I failed the last jump because I jumped too late. Prior to this, my keyboard was having genuine input delay issues and outright not accepting inputs at times. So, I may have failed due to a broken keyboard. Regardless, this fail was so bad. I failed F10 2 times after before completion.
Tbh on the ToHH fail, the devs should've gave them the badge, since it was entirely the game's fault, especially with proof. RIP to every fail in this vid.
Sad to see these types of fails happen quite regularly in jtoh. And i had a bit of experience with that. First of all: I was grinding ToTL, and as a ToAE victor, it was quite hard for its intended difficulty. The worst fail that i had (even worse than the fail shown) is failing the long walk. Yes, im not even kidding. I was dissapointed on that fail because i had a chance of getting to the FS and beaten the tower, but i didn't. Fortunately, the fail happened two days ago (at the time im writing this comment) and i got to F10 the second time and beaten the tower. Kinda weird that happened because when i was doing ToAE weeks ago, and gotten to the FS, i failed the first jump, but this time i didnt get upset because it was a goofy fail. Again with ToTL, gotten to the FS and beaten the tower by then. Second: my next sc will be ToUH, but i won't be doing that for a long time (cuz of school and a break from sc's) and in the first day i got to the punishing floors three times. The first fail was from the pink floor, on the big structure with the honey parts, i got flung by the elevator. I laughed at it and moved on. And the last two was on the same floor, in the moving shover section (i swear it wasn't because of the shover). Before then, i have a good experience of completing the punishing floors in practice, starting on the red floor all the way to the winpad in a single run, but hey, fails happen. If your fail is demotivating enough to make you quit the tower, just take a break and continue it later.
Fun fact: I did floor 10 of ToTL and ToDC and did the final jump of ToDT first try Edit: after I failed floor 10 of ToAE I quit the tower after some time, I did ToBK instead and it was much easier for me as a first extreme Edit 2: I will beat ToIF soon Edit 3: I beat ToIF and ToPZ. I didn't record my fail on ToPZ but I fell on the 12 stud jump before the final stretch. Edit 4: 10:14 Crp had a similar fail but it was ever so slightly earlier. Edit 5: 3:48 if you are confused it is not the player with the vm barrier and boost item barrier it is the other player who failed the jump
I also disconnected on the final jump of ToDC. Would've been my first SC after 3.5 years of playing JToH. Thankfully, I beat it 3 days after. Also an exploiter caused me to disconnect, which is arguably worse than what happened to him.
the sad thing about the disconnection fails is that even if you have proof that your wifi is garbage, mods arent allowed to to you back which technically makes jtoh p2w
@DanTheDumb not my fault no one in TTT believes him, and plus he goes way beyond the fps threshold making CoIV like base horrific. If skitsuna, one of the best players took 4 months to get to f11 would you really believe someone who was practically never heard of before could beat it in less than 1 month? Yeah, what I thought.
6:03 I have an even worse fail that happened to me, so I was in the last jump, and when I thought I won, I missed it by .1 studs, and I actually didn’t save in either of the floors that you mentioned, I just fell to 3 and got rng’d to floor 1. It’s pretty sad but I’m all fine and I beat it now!
In ToM, I was on Floor 5, where you have to do those jumps where you kinda have to wrap over the side of the ceiling. The catch is that the jumps get higher, so I failed at the 4th jump and fell all the way down to Floor 1. Edit: The objective is actually to go into a corner and jump from one platform to another, but...how would I know I could do that?
i might have the worst tofn fail i got to the final headhitters right before the winpad and i got flung to 4 while trying to do one of the headhitters, i stopped grinding the tower for around 8 months and i came back to it like 2 months ago and finally beat it. probably my worst grind ever.
that’s crazy because I actually failed that head hitter aswell my first time there, I fell to 7 then chain failed to 1. It was tough but I beat it the following day. Great job on ToFN btw
As someone who fell at the final stretch of ToIM and died at 10 ToAR, trust me when I say this, these fails are EXTREMELY demotivating and can lead to intense fingerlocking for the rest of the day AND the next day. I am really happy that it didn't happen to me and I managed to beat them both. Wish me luck with my next SC and I hope that i dont get any bad fails. (my next sc is ToGF new hardest) As for someone special to me who died at the spikes at ToBK (just like the person in the video) but it would have also been their first sc. I'm really happy that they beat it in the end like most of the people in this video probably did as of now. After Tower of Generation Failure, I might quit obbies entirely due to demotivation and just boredom (i'm gonna move on forward in life and focus more on school) as I played it for a whopping 4 years by now. My freind on tovh called “Xrobox2567” disconnected at one of the final jumps on 10 and he spent so much time on that run he spent like 256 minutes (he beat it 2 weeks later tho) So if you do another revamp imo put that one
I probably have worst fail for Citadel of Laptop Splitting, I was trying to win it for a week, in a 257 minute run, fall on the flicks on floor 14 (the outside part) and fell all the way to the cyan floor (Floor 4), quit JToH after that
i failed the last jump of ToBT 3 damn times before beating it, i failed them ALL THE SAME NIGHT, and suprisingly. it was the only part of the FS i failed
