incredibly happy you're able to share both your career as a performer and a writer with us on this channel. words of wisdom as well as the demonstration that juggling seemingly impossible amounts of things while staying happy and enjoying life is possible is extremely encouraging. keep it up Carrie. xx
THAT DRAWING OF CARRIE AT THE END IS SO GOOD! Kudos to the artist :D The Child Catcher knitting and smiling is so surreal to see. Is he knitting clothes for the children he catches? XD
It was fantastic meeting you tonight Carrie and thank you for taking the time to say hello and get pictures, and for saying you loved my tattoos and they were pretty! Means so much! ❤️
When Carrie tipped the spider out the window. I was sort of expecting to hear a scream from a passerby. Not dealing with the fact that they all of a sudden had a spider just appear on their person. Maybe because that is the sort of thing that would happen to me.
i love how human you are. that might sound weird, but i feel like so many people on youtube put on a bit of a facade, but whenever i watch your videos it's like catching up with an old friend. i know you must cut out the bad bits of your day, but it's a genuine pleasure to get to watch how you conduct yourself. thank you for being a positive part of my day. xx
I struggle a lot keeping my voice healthy and happy when I have a 6-8 show week and really would like to see a post show routine video maybe with some tips on how you stay away from illness and keep your voice all beautiful and rested
Id love to see a post show routine! I am going to the school for closing night of our production Dracula and I'm quite excited. It's been a mess so far, I'll give you a brief rundown. First night- transitions where horrible, lots of empty stage and nothingness, 4 or 5 scenes missed, a prop broke, people missing cues, microphones not working, it was very clear that things went wrong. Second night- missed two rather important scenes, the sound for the band wasn't working so we had to deal with using Spotify instead. So it was quite a bit better and you couldn't tell that we missed scenes. Also, actors kissed for the first time and it just made it altogether better. We can only hope that tonight will go better! Love you Carrie
I'm coming to see chitty in Sheffield next Thursday. Usually when you go and see a show you don't 'know' the characters but through carries recent tour vlogs in feel like in going into a play kind of knowing lots of the characters which is really cool!
I would love for you to do a after show routine video! I love all of your videos Carrie and if I really wished I lived in the UK so I could see one of your shows. You're such a big role model too me and I love how positive and enthusiastic you are and how proud you are to be yourself. Love you!! xx
Jumped for my life when you said about the spider cos I expected it to jump out or something, how you stayed that calm is beyond me, buuuut the countdown to on the other side is well and truly scrumptiously on, happy days! X
I love your kind of vlog, you talk for a bit but then show us you doing stuff to. Just little snipets here and there but they flow nicely, I do love the post it notes!
I saw the show on wednesday and everyone was amazing. Chitty was the first show that I saw on the west end (12 years ago), and I love the film so it brought back all those warm and fuzzy childhood memories. But I'm just glad the childcatcher didn't fly over the audience because that scared me for a long time when I first saw the show.
I'd love to see a post-show routine =) also I feel you with all the "working in theater makes you not fear being silly", that's one of the things I love so much with this job !
Carrie: thank you for sharing parts of your life with us, I feel very grateful for these videos because you make my day even better or in sad days, you make it brighter, I hope you are having a wonderful time at Chitty, looooots of love from Uruguay!
I've been off school ill for the past 3 days and I've been in a generally bad mood, your sense of humour in this and positivity has really cheered me up!(as it always does) thankyouuu😊xxx (I've already watched this vlog before, it came back up in my suggested and I needed a pick up!😊)
I would love for you to do a Post Show Routine Carrie!!! I love your videos and you always make my day! You're so cheery and full of determination, you make me want to reach the stars. You are so inspirational and sensational, I admire you so much!
I'd love to see a post-show routine from you Carrie! I love your videos ah they always bring a smile to my face :) Keep up the positivity, it's contagious!
Yes to the post show ritual please and thank you! Love your voice and your videos and I think you are a lovely person! You inspire me to be a performer
Carrie thank you so much! What you said about a fear of looking silly really helped me! I am always scared that I will look silly and stupid when performing. But what you said @ 1:38 has and is helping me to become a better performer! I am currently 15 and am auditioning for my school musical and preparing for musical theatre exams. I've only been following you for about a year and your videos have helped me see another side to myself which I've always been to shy and worried to express! Good luck for your last few weeks in Heather's can't wait to see what you do next!
Thanks for talking about the worry of looking like a fool when performing. I don't think a lot of non-performing people understand that and you explained it quite well. I've been (amateur) acting and dancing for a few years now and there is a small part of me that thinks people will be in the audience snickering, but of course they won't. That kind of thinking is horrible and really detrimental. Proper acting is throwing away your inhibitions. That's pure acting, that's what the audience pays for.
I'd love to see your post show routine!!! Watching your videos is always so relaxing and uplifting to me and it makes me so happy whenever I get a notification about a new video :)
I hope you've hunted down a few of the elephants on show around sheffield for the Herd of Sheffield parade supporting Sheffields Children's Hospital! saw the show on Weds it was brilliant. x
I took my mum to see the matinee performance on the day you filmed this, she thought you were all incredible and put a huge smile on her face! We've just watched this vlog together and she said how lovely Matt looked with his knitting!
Just passed my second year medical exams to then find a notification that there was another Fabbie Carrie video to watch and to top it all off its almost the weekend 😍 What more can you ask for from a day 🎉
I'd love to see your post-show routine!!! Also, I keep forgetting that I booked tickets AGES ago for Chitty in August and every time you upload a video I remember and get all excited again ^_^ xxx
I remember seeing Chitty for the first time when I was about 7, and I cried because I was so terrified of the child catcher! The knitting made him slightly less terrifying this time around!
Carrie, I have always loved acting and performing but never auditioned for anything. You inspired me to audition for Annie, I did but unfortunately didn't get a part, so you inspired me again to audition for the town hall panto, I only got a small part but I want you to know that I've always wanted to be on a stage outside of school, but I was always too anxious that I was too round, or too awkward, or too loud. My dream job is to act and I sort of put that to bed until I started watching you, so thank you Carrie because you are slowly bringing me out of my comfort zone and letting me reach my goals!:)
Totally into the post-show routine video!! Don't pay attention to the fact that I'm into every video you post so... And also, I just realized you will be posting a Dear Tom and Gi video on my birthday so i'm now reeaaaaallyyyyyy excited hehe
