Really Love to see n teach our Nepal culture language and many more. 2020 year Nepal is welcome for you. Thank u if you really know more about Nepal contact or WhatsApp +9779851053537. Thank you.
Great video again. When I was in Pokhara three years ago, just before the earthquake, I went paragliding and the zip-line. You mentioned the youth paddling the boats, when we landed from the paragliding, six year olds packed the para-shuts back up, LOL. The zipline is advertised as the worlds longest, highest, fastest, and steepest. it lived up to that and was terrifying!
It's called Zipflyer and is on the north side of the lake pretty much off the same mountain as the paragliding. There is also a bungy jump at its base. I'd love to do the Upper Mustang trek too. Love your work!! highgroundnepal.com/zipflyer/
GRRRLTRAVELER | Christine Kaaloa Near from lakeside , called to the Name bagar If you go to mahendra-Cave, 🦇cave passing throw the way of Bagar Once again #Thank you so much #Chistine for lovely video Hav nice trip n Njoy life. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🇳🇵
I'm seriously thinking of going to Pokhara next year, one of the Gurkhas at work is from there so makes it even more special to visit. So thanks for the video.
Yes really it's so so much and good place to visit pokhara in the center of Nepal it's really a good and a amazing place love love Nepal and I am proud to be a Nepal 😊😊😘😘😘😘🙍🙍 Best Best place to Visiting in Nepal....
I like the way you put all the information in this video. In most of the travelling blog they only focus on themselves but you did it perfectly. By the way I am from Pokhara currently in Germany. I feel like home when I watch this video.
Its not the peak season. But you should be careful with the weather. I went there in October too. Got held up by weather. August or September is best actually.
In 2015 i moved from Honolulu to Chiang Mai on a retirement visa. CM was too hot and i got sick of staying in the ac and not walking so i headed to Pokhara. For the duration of the two back to back 5 month visa's(close enough to a year☺) i walked everyday and ate much better than in CM. I lost 60lbs in 10 months and felt great. I am returning to Pokhara in January for another 5 months. I intend to hike the Anapurna trail. I was attracted to Pokhara and Nepal in general because they have a real winter season oct-march, it's cheaper than Chiang Mai and the visa's can be set up for a 10month stay if you get there starting August. It's also a unique place to be.😎
Christine, you need to correct your vocabulary. Sherpa does NOT mean a porter. They are ONLY and ONLY an ethnic group of Nepal who live in the high mountainous region. Since they help people climb the mountains, thus, carry luggage etc, does not make the word 'sherpa' as a porter.
I was told there were two definitions. A Sherpa/ethnic group can be a sherpa /porter ( the definition known most by traveler) but a Sherpa/porter is not always a Sherpa/ethnic group. What would you definition of luggage carrier be and the term for Sherpa ? Because not all Sherpas carry luggage on treks in the mountains.
The Western world has a biased eye. They usually encounter a Sherpa when they come to Nepal to climb mountains and they think Sherpa is a porter. But it is just untrue. Yes a porter is not always a Sherpa. A porter can be from any ethnic community people, like a Gurung, a Tamang, a Rai, a Brahmin, or a Sherpa, etc. Understand, a person who carries luggage and loads, is a porter, so a white can be a porter, you can be a porter. The Sherpa is purely an ethnic community who are mainly in Nepal and Tibet and have mastered the craft to climb high mountains. High salute to their caliber and craftsmanship. They are NOT always a porter, it is an ethnic group of people like Lama, Tamang, etc.
Pradip ,I'm really ashamed of ur insufficient expertise. Sherpa don't belong to any of Tibetan. As for your info Lama actually is not a cast , in the beginning it was used as for monks and later on as surname just like sherpa.
You know I had to edit out all that drone buzz at the PEACE pagoda... Lol. The other day I wanted to tell you I was thinking of you cuz in edit I kept hearing your “ don’t give her all the credit”... (lol) But you were going through a personal moment. Anyways, I was sending good thoughts your way 🤗.
Its getting expensive cause more and more people are coming especially foreigners..this is only the best explaination left for the government of nepal..
I was there in 1983. Very different. Lullaby airport was a dirt runway with one landing strip. It took three.? Weeks and over two dollars to send a letter to the US. It’s changed a lot. The people remain
I so wanna go back. I would but got married. Husband stole my life two homes job and money. Now I am old and poor instead of comfortable. Pray God works t hints out. This is also true. He tried to have me murdered for an insurance policy. Karma. Mine his. I’m mani padmi om
Hello dear, First of all thank you for compliment about the Pokhara and whole Nepal, but there are some worse shops around Pokhara, Nepal which you've shared it's wonderful task by you... I wish that it must be punish such a shops by Nepal governments ASAP. Your one of new fan from Pokhara, Nepal.
Another great video by my favorite vlogger in the world, hehe. That looks like a great place to visit in the future! It looks like a really big city, and lots of fun activities to do. Thanks for sharing, and it looks like everyone else likes it, except a couple of trolls that gave it a thumbs down, oh well, who needs them, haha. Keep up the great work in showing us your amazing travels!
Great video!! Loved all the paning and zooming, cool editing... I actually remember that museum, they had a section for all the different knots!!😂 Upper Mustang is my bucketlist too!! I’m told the permit is about $500 alone plus guide, transport and so on!! But once in a life time I guess! People who want to paraglide must do some research before hand as they’ve had a few accidents over the years!!
Glad you enjoyed the edit. I feel like I’m eventually gonna have to experiment more with editing to level up again! And yeah i read about those prices. That’s definitely another plane ticket, but it looks like an amazing destination. How long did you trek Everest for?
GRRRLTRAVELER | Christine Kaaloa I’ve noticed the quality seems to be getting better each time! Would you consider getting a stabiliser? The EBC trek was about 14 days I think, but can be done in 12... seeing the Annapurna on the video has made think about doing the circuit!!!
Stabilizer- possible. As a solo female traveler is it wise to add $$$ to an already $$$$ gear bag and can my back sustain one more 1lb+ piece of metal? If I were two people or carrying one camera, then yes, without a doubt. =)
GRRRLTRAVELER | Christine Kaaloa I totally get the weight and size issue, especially travelling solo... I suppose depending on what trip you’re going on, if you decide to do one of those treks, then you’ll have a porter who’s quite capable of carrying your gear!😊
Wow a friend of mine comes from there...Thanks to your video channel I'm on going there .... from Sydney down under Australia...Love your channel Aloha!

Great video. I loved Pokhara. That was such a fun hike to the top of of that mountain (or hill) where we had the beer and boat ride back to town.

Oh no, I'm so sorry. Awe...thank you so much. ;-)
Word of advice, don't use the mountain trail during monsoon. You are guaranteed to be attacked by leeches.
Love the way u shoot the experiences so professionally..

Hi, just inquisitive. Why did you decide to stay in thamel?
hey, friend, your video was very very nice and interesting.
Tip for paragliding: just down from Rosemary's Kitchen is an office that only charges 5000rs. I paraglided with them and it was great!
😳😳😳😳✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻 Did you have to negotiate?
GRRRLTRAVELER | Christine Kaaloa No negotiation, just the advertised price. 12,000rs is a lot! I think the highest I heard of was around 9000.
Wow, great deal! Thnx for sharing!
