Agatha Christie from WWI Chemist to Novelist

Agatha Christie is one of the best novelists of all times, but where is it exactly that she got her inspiration from to write such incredible murder mysteries and how come she has such accurate knowledge when it comes to poisons which are used in more than 30 of her novels?
