Zumaia has the best natural wonders to offer. Visit the famous Game of Thrones beach-Playa de Itzurun, Ermita de San Telmo, Fountain of St. John, St. Peter The Apostle Church, and many more. Enjoy watching the video and don't forget to SUBSCRIBE!
Along those beaches and "those rocks" the most interesting thing is the K/T boundary with the Iridium layer, famous for the theory of the meteorite impact in Yucatan that supposedly wiped out the dinosaurs. Those rocks you look at are tertiary flisch rocks, and I think that you should be able to find creataceous rocks that are more solid and more limestone. That is I think the way to find the thin layer of Iridium in between.
Thank you for watching the video. And thank you for mentioning the flysch rocks. They are amazing indeed. And going to Zumaia is something that one should do at least once in their lives.
@@nathanieltravels My favorite over there is not Zumaia but Elanchove, or Elantxobe. You should not miss that place, a little fisher town, unbelievably beautiful, and if you continue the coast a bit further you will find Playa de Laga and Mundaka, also breathtakingly beautiful.
