Thank you for giving a good top-down view of the pouch! Too often when I'm shopping for pouches on Amazon, or even a manufacturer's website, they don't have a top-down view, the one you're actually going to be seeing when it's on your hip.
Sick layout with the best of the best tools! And all of this stuff is good for anybody in any trade! And for homeowners too!!! Knipex stuff is so good... people don't realize that one Knipex works so well that it eliminates multiple other tools. And honestly, people can talk about the price of this Veto pouch, but it costs that much because it actually is better than the others. I think EVERY tool channel should have a video showing their tool belt. It's easier to spend money on tons of tools and tool storage than it is to cut down to what you actually want to carry around. Keep up the great work!!!
Cobras are a must for an electrician in my mind. I’ve even opened them all the way and used it as a hook to grab a wire 2” up in a 3/4 pipe. That level is sexy af. Last year I found Diablo carbide bits. THE BEST EVER I do gas stations so we have 6’ long troughs with 20 or more pipes from the gas dispensers and tanks. I’ve cut over 20 holes in 4 different gas stations before needing to buy a new one. They even have a 2.5” carbide bit, I don’t use a knockout set to knock holes in metal for a 2” conduit anymore. 20 seconds and I have a hole drilled. I forget who makes it but there is a impact bit that the end swaps from 5/16 to 3/8, pretty nice because you can clean the magnet off
Hi there nice video again. I own a MP1X myself and a useful tip could be that if you’re working on a panel you can mount the pouch to it with a Holstery mag master. Takes the tools of your belt and within hands reach while your working. The pocket flap I only use to hang my pouch of my packout roll box on the packible Joey bracket. Hope this might help someone. Have a great day.
A good tool belt and a bag is where it's at. A proper belt helps you distribute the weight of what you do choose to carry. Only carry what you need right now, or if you're really moving just grab tools as you need from your pouch and let them stay in the belt, if it starts to feel heavy see what you can pull out. 90% of the time I completely empty my tool belt and pouches after each job. A: I do not want tools and material spilling out if the belt gets thrown in the back seat or back of a truck. B: having a giant clutter of fasteners and loose parts in your pouches sucks C: Empty and clean pouches are the most useful, even if I'm doing a small service call I appreciate having a place to tuck new devices, and place cover plates, screws etc instead of placing them ontop of panels, on the floor, on nite stands or bathroom counters, and if we're talking commercial then definitely don't wanna be leaving that stuff just lying around. I'd love one of these mini pouches if I consistenly wore a belt but my favorite work attire for years has been an oversized hi-viz jump suit, nothing to clip something like the pouch in this video onto (pretty baggy so pocket stuffer or clip would be akwardly hanging off the coveralls) so I've come to prefer the nice diamond back belt to saddle up over my coveralls, I also sweat pretty heavily from spring to fall so keeping my tools in the belt stops them from getting rusty like they do if they're in my pockets from my sweat (white salt build up on my shirts daily in the sweating seasons)
Nice to see insulated tools being used, being a UK based electrician 1000v VDE is the standard, noticing a lot of American electricians using non VDE tools kinda makes me uneasy, cut a live cable with non rated croppers once, gave me a nice belt when it went bang
Bro, been watching your videos a lot lately, your definitely the standard for a bitchin tool set up and help out with a nice starting guide for getting into the electrical field. Appreciate you taking the time to make these. 💯
I’m getting one to replace my Knipex pouch, which is tiny but as an industrial maintenance tech I found keeping a small set on me as I walk the facility, reduces trips to the toolbox.
im...trying to find this clip...mine broke..can't find it anywhere...Please do you know if they have replacement clips...if they do where thanks great review...👍🏼👍🏼
You can easily use the Knipex forged wire strippers he has. I have them and it’s the absolute easiest way to cut mc. I’ve cut 1/0 with them pretty easily
Hey could you please do a review on the Milwaukee USA hand tools? I’m on the fence about them and It’s easy to find a lot of fanboying when it comes to the reviews I’ve seen your opinion would mean a lot!
Very thorough review, been looking forard to this one! I'm looking forward to picking up the MPX. I'd be curious to know, can the tape measure section can comfortably support a compact drill or impact?
Great videos, love your content. One thing I would recommend is try to limit the amount of times you say “absolute” it’s a bit excessive. Thanks for all that you do!
Great video.. Comparing with a couple of months ago made videos, now the focus works pretty fast. Still, you can play a bit with the depth of field. It is an issue with such videos where the presenter shows constantly close-ups
I bought something like this, except its got a way better pocket layout. Crappy AWP brand. it was $6 at lowes on clearance. I figured it wouldnt last long so i bought 2. the first ones lasted me well over a year so far.

Great Pouch and Set Up… I have the older MP1, but have bought the MPX and MP2X… all great pouches .
Thanks for the video 👍
Thank you for the feedback! Love my mp1x!
Not an electrician, but I love well made and organized equipment. Thoroughly enjoy these. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for the feedback! I appreciate you!

I got the MPX myself, work on low voltage stuff and if I need more than what’s in the pouch, I bring my bag!
Nice to see insulated tools being used, being a UK based electrician 1000v VDE is the standard, noticing a lot of American electricians using non VDE tools kinda makes me uneasy, cut a live cable with non rated croppers once, gave me a nice belt when it went bang
Love the vde stuff. Our regulations lead towards safety on the end of not having to do live work
Another banger! I love watching videos that will make me look into some tools I probably have not known about. Keep em coming!
Forgot "eventually add to cart" 😂😂
Bro thank you! I appreciate the feedback!
Awesome pouch. I use a similar one that makita makes. That also has the pocket flap. Awesome feature when you only need 4-5 tools.

Bro thank you so much! I really appreciate the feedback. Glad I could help man
I got the MP2X. It’s a slightly bigger but carry’s everything for my EDC when I’m on the job.
The MP2X is sweet. Perfect for that EDC
6:20 ... That groove in the middle of two handles, is made to rest your thumb while holding them...👍 Awesome feature..🌟
Thanks for the heads up!
I’m getting one to replace my Knipex pouch, which is tiny but as an industrial maintenance tech I found keeping a small set on me as I walk the facility, reduces trips to the toolbox.
That’s a great use of it. Love the mp1x

I would just warranty it and have them take care of it
I have the MP2X and I absolutely love it, it pairs perfectly with the veto tech pac
The mp2x looks great! Their pouches and bags are fantastic. Glad you like it
That Flir Detector is so underrated, best I've used.
By far the best
What tool do you use to cut through mc cable like 12/2 or 12/3 that doesn’t damage the cutting edge?
stuff rated to cut piano wire should be good for mc, Klein tools HD line is good, knipex is too but its not the easiest to cut with.
Klein 2000 series dikes
You can easily use the Knipex forged wire strippers he has. I have them and it’s the absolute easiest way to cut mc. I’ve cut 1/0 with them pretty easily
Yes all of these I can cut with my strippers or diagonal cutters pretty easily
I saw your video of the Occidental telecom pouch first. Do you now prefer the Veto Pro Pac over Occidental telecom pouch?
Hey could you please do a review on the Milwaukee USA hand tools? I’m on the fence about them and It’s easy to find a lot of fanboying when it comes to the reviews I’ve seen your opinion would mean a lot!
I’ll see what I can do! I have a lot of other videos coming up that I’ve already spent money on so it might be a little while
@@americanelectrician sounds great thank you for replying! No rush.
Is there a pouch I could fit a fluke 323 in? Or is that something for the TP series?
Great video man! I own the MP2X and its been great
Very thorough review, been looking forard to this one! I'm looking forward to picking up the MPX. I'd be curious to know, can the tape measure section can comfortably support a compact drill or impact?
Thank you! I think that depends on the clip of the drill really. It’s not super thick, so generally yes
Thank you for the video. The MP1X is just what I'm looking for. I look forward to receiving it.
Thanks for the feedback! The pouch is great
Have you tried the Crocs wire strippers? I'm curious on the stripper for NM Sheathing part.
Great videos, love your content. One thing I would recommend is try to limit the amount of times you say “absolute” it’s a bit excessive. Thanks for all that you do!
Ive found out that if you keep the silver Sharpie with the cap down, it'll last a lot longer
A pouch I use occidental 5053, it would be great if you could review that pouch!
Thanks for the video have to try this pouch out
Great video.. Comparing with a couple of months ago made videos, now the focus works pretty fast. Still, you can play a bit with the depth of field. It is an issue with such videos where the presenter shows constantly close-ups
Thanks for the appreciation! I’ve put a lot of time, effort? and money into it
Good stuff man you need the Oclip-OLIGHT for that bag
I have one! That’s a great idea
COULD YOU PLEASE REVIEW THE MPX
Good stuff buddy! Love my MP2X 👍
Thank you! Love the pouch!
Engineer has a awesome waterpumpplier. It's not widly available. I got them from Amazon Japan.
You need to try velocity tool bags
Gedore is the only brand that makes pliers on the same level as Knipex, but I still prefer the cobras.
I’ll have to check out some more pliers from Gedore!
Most “voltage detectors” have a Silent ON mode. Just so ya know.
I hope you compare the Bahco 426TOR9 level 😉
I’ll add it to the list!
@@americanelectrician👍
¿Can you do a video, about you working? It's interesting to see your's organization likes your's tools 🤙.
I am working towards being able to. I can’t currently where I’m working
Love my mpx2
It’s fantastic
90 bucks for a pouch is a little silly. I have the full line of tough built pouches. My 7 pocket pouch prob cost me 25 bucks 3 years ago
It’s nice tho
lol your tough builts are not comparable to veto, silly to think so.
Hate to be that guy, but it’s pronounced “Fleer” as opposed to “Flur?”
I thought it was pronounced ‘flyer’ 😎
No that’s not a bad guy to be. I honestly have no idea how it’s pronounced but I’ll look into it. Thanks for the feedback!
They stopped selling the mp1 now
Watch my short for a solution to a problem you didn't know you had with the MP1X if you want to make it perfect.
Am I the only one that finds the metal belt hoop to dig into your leg?
I bought something like this, except its got a way better pocket layout. Crappy AWP brand. it was $6 at lowes on clearance. I figured it wouldnt last long so i bought 2. the first ones lasted me well over a year so far.
🔥🔥🔥
You’re the man!
Bros tools are too clean, he don’t use them
Before you spend a bunch of money on pump pliers. German Tool Reviews compares the major German brands.
I’ll check it out!
I do not need this.
I do not need this.
I do not need this.
I do not need this.
I do not need this. . .
Stay strong bro.. but stay strong with an mp1x on your hip😂
