i personally think manderson is one of the most underrated pros out there. then again, I'm biased. i love krooked and am originally from ventura also. his shop sponsor was the first skateshop i knew. this last summer i went out to ventura a couple of times and i checked it out while i was there. odd to see how much my hometown has and has not changed in the 14 years between visits.
