But I am not getting straight strips ,not cutting in equal length . What am I doing wrong ? could you please help me how to cut 1/20 inch strips in straight
One pass is good enough for the 1/8 inch balsa if your blade is sharp. I’ve been using one of these for over 20 years and consider it an essential tool for building
I like the idea of using two passes to cut thicker stock but it might be easier for you if you get two balsa strippers. One set up at a 1/2 thickness and one for the full cut... just an idea.
@@StartingOutInRC can't use that, where I live everything is measured in mm and sold in mm. That said, 6mm is near enough 1/4 as a guide 😉 Oh, did you convert it to 4 channel operation?
Ah, ok, all my plans and wood is sold in imperial. It's a pain as I'm not used to using it, but so long as everything matches the build goes ok! No, I didn't convert it to 4 channel, but it's something I might do in the future.

Couldn’t you flip the balsa and run it again without needing to readjust?
What is the material of the mat you are cutting on? I need a very long self healing cutting mat and the products at the store aren't long enough.
Can I ask how wide does it cut cheers
Hi, it'll comfortably cut up to 20mm
@@StartingOutInRC cheers
Why use imperial measurements?
Hi, the plans are in imperial so I use that.
