    Stumbled upon your videos here and there, now going through all of them lol wow so glad you narrate them now. You have a great voice for it. But these earlier videos are beautiful. I've stayed at the Zannier in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Phum Baitang was also stunning. The muted colors/tones throughout the property, "subtle luxury", and how the design, tastefully done, paid homage to the local culture & history. Timeless.

    U’re definitely one of the first travel bloggers who made such a detailed video of this resort. I searched months ago & there was none. I’ll go there this Jun, so do u know Ba Hai restaurant will open by then?

    • @tfft
      @tfft  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for watching! From what I was told in January, Ba Hai would be open in March 2021. I highly suggest you contact the front desk directly before you book to make sure (there was a bit of a disconnect between them and the reservations department when I was there- hence why I suggest calling them directly). Also when you call, if it’s not too far in advance ask them which menus will be offered on your days there. I’m sure it’s all delicious but the Central cuisine menu by far looked best to me (and I would be really disappointed if I booked on Vegetarian night...). Hope you enjoy your trip!

    Stunning resort. And are they using Thann's amenities?

    • @tfft
      @tfft  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes! But I think the Thann amenities may be temporary at least as you see them as I’ve been told they have a goal to make the rooms single use plastic free.

    Amazing review! We are staying there in April. What are the food prices like? We have looked online and can’t find any menus! Thank you!

    • @tfft
      @tfft  ปีที่แล้ว

      The food prices were the upper end of average for 5 star resorts in VN- the drink prices though were much higher than normal. I’d suggest contacting them directly for the menus. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻

    I am considering this hotel, Intercontinental at Da Nang and Amanoi for my upcoming stay.
    Which of these do you think offers more authentic food, as hotel foods are often expensive and a less flavorful version of local cuisines? Additionally, which one provides a wider range of activities and has a better beach? Do you have any idea of how these options compare in these aspects? Thanks.

    • @tfft
      @tfft  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      For specific itinerary questions and the such I have the Globe Trotter level of my Patreon designed just for it. Out of respect to my Patreons who pay me for such advice, I'll limit my comment here to just saying I think Amanoi is wildly overpriced. Happy to dive into details on Patreon. Great video! Was wondering how did you travel to the property? Via GrabCar or arranged with the hotel? How much did it cost

    • @tfft
      @tfft  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I arrived there from the Avani who arranged a car for me for ~500k and departed from Zannier to the airport in what I thought was to be one of their cars, but was an outside contract car for ~1.2m. That’s just my best recollection of the prices (was 18 months ago almost) but based on the distances the prices make sense. Zannier is way out of the way and I highly doubt Grab would be available from there, but possibly to get there. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻

    • @tfft
      @tfft  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry just realized you might not be familiar with VN prices. 500k = 500.000 ~$22US, 1.2m = 1.200.000 = ~$52USD.

    Are there any 5 star resorts you can recommend in nha Trang that are close to surfing beaches/spots

    • @tfft
      @tfft  ปีที่แล้ว

      I’ve not heard of Nha Trang being well known as a surfing spot so I’m probably not the guy to ask on this one. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻

    Planning to stay 5 nights in May. Is there enough things to do there or do I need to venture outside the property?

    • @tfft
      @tfft  ปีที่แล้ว

      I mean, that really depends on what you'd consider "things to do" to mean haha. This is very much a resort with isolated rest and relaxation in mind- not full of creative activities like a Six Senses would be. All Zannier properties have an Excursion Menu on their website that you might want to check out. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻

    • @tfft

    Is this an all-inclusive resort? I don't see any mention of it, so I am asking. I have never stayed in a $400+/night resort before.

    • @tfft
      @tfft  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for watching! No, Zannier Bai San Ho is not all-inclusive (to my knowledge only their properties in Namibia offer this). The Hilltop Pool Villas (which is my recommended room here) are pricing out over $800 per night for dates I’ve seen in 2022. My recommendation if your plans are flexible is to check out some of the pool villas at various resorts in Nha Trang (L’alya Resort for example), Da Nang or Phu Quoc- all of which have many more better value resorts. Please don’t get me wrong though, Zannier is an incredible resort, but when they start pricing above $600 it makes me begin to search for a better value for my money.

    Hi, in the video u have stated October-November to be avoided. Why?

    • @tfft
      @tfft  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      September-December are rainy season in this part of VN, but Oct/Nov are by far the worst with 500-600+mm of rain per month and almost guaranteed typhoons. The majority of central VN should be avoided during these months for the same reasons. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻

      @yashovardhankochar1724 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    • @tfft
      @tfft  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yea definitely. The rain in the central regions isn’t tropical like in Saigon where it just rains for an hour or so each day- in the central regions at times it rains for days on end.
