The island itself started out as a water park. It hed a shallow lagoon with plaforms and bridges like a playground in knee deep water. It also had a inner tube lazy river and water slides. The island itself is small. They closed down theater park features when a boy caught a aemeoba (sic) that got to his brain...it's a thing they couldn't get out of the water , in the man made bay, I believe. Which is st in the middle of the various parks and hotels of the Disney park complex. They then tried to make it a and make park feature but it never did very well. There wasn't alit of draw to something that was so small and had no rides or activities. I mean you had to take one of the ferries that run around in the bay to deliver guests to those park and hotels. As it sits in the middle of the bay and is visible but closed now that created this mystery to get on by those people that do those urban explorations of places you can't or should go to. You know for bragging rights? But I've seen a couple ayrube videos if the island. I did it cuz I'm bvidit d it with a group of kids in a large group summer vacation excursion no in the mid 80s. I suppose the mystery and the left over park buildings and remnants of thev after park features would make it creepy for people.....but it's not all that yo me. But I remember it as it was and I being so small and fairly boring....as with alot of things abandoned and off limits on and at Disney world...it became the subject of speculation and s toories like this..

Really enjoyed this one! The only part that pissed me off a bit was that the op refused to share the video online. Like, I get that this is fiction, but you would still think that any person with two working braincells would get the video posted online, so that they could prove to the world that paranormal stuff is real.
This was weird!!
It reminds me of those videos on Disney and the deaths, injuries, mysterious disappearances or other weird stories at the happiest place on earth. I never liked people dressed like clowns or fictitious characters. It was just so fake. I took my daughter to Disneyland a few times mostly for the rides. My daughter was too little to acknowledge my despise for people in costumes. Although, she only went up to characters that had normal faces, not those w/head-to-toe costumes on, much to my delight.
I’ve always steered clear of Easter bunny and Santa photos. I mean really would you pay for your infant or child to sit between a complete strangers legs, dressed as a fictional character AND have photos hung on your wall every year in the name of consumerism, holiday hype? Do you really know these men that are hired for these jobs? Most are right off the street. No background checks or criminal history. Sometimes a fill-in for the real Santa’s sick call. As pedophiles sick fantasy. See that smile...Hmmm.

I use to live in FL the water there is so beautiful ❤️ Nothing like here in Connecticut the water at the beach is sad to say the least in our area anyway . It has a lot to do with long island boxing us in but I have seen white tail deer running across the sand at the beach while my son was fishing you don't see that every day

@@stingerjohnny9951 well.... it's all cannabis lol.. I'm a Michigan medical marijuana caregiver and homegrower. I took my 2 car attached garage and split it in half, put up a wall down the middle, insulated it, put up sheetrock, and layed 2 layers of vct, 10' wide x 19' long.... That's my indoor. Then my outdoor garden is 20' wide x 30' long, all my indoor medium I dump in my outdoor garden and till it with the earth, then plant all my cannabis and veggies directly in the earth and let momma nature do her thing. I also just started growing apple trees as well.

HI, I'm Satan and I've been living in FL for many years after coming to the US from the holy land. I have lived all over the place, as I like to move around a lot. Florida is the closest thing to an actual hell that exists so I tend to keep coming back here. I lived close to the Disney parks for a few years (I went to university in Orlando). There's also a city called Treasure Island near Saint Petersburg that I spent some time in when I was younger and have revisited with my own child years later. It's kind of a creepy place now. Nothing like I remember it from all those years ago. I didn't know there was ever a treasure Island near Orlando though. That's interesting. I'd love to explore it myself. Maybe cause some more chaos, as I do. 😈
I found this channel from a collab with The Dark Somnium. You have a wonderful voice that is quite pleasant to listen to. So glad I found you. There are so many others on here doing this same type of thing but most of them have voices that are absolutely intolerable to listen to and/or simply sound like they're just reading with no emotion or life in it. Not everyone can do this right. There are only maybe 3 or 4 that I know about that actually bring the story to life with their narrations. From what little I've heard so far, I expect I'll be adding you to that list.
I look forward to listening to more of your narrations. In fact, I think I shall go do that right now. Oh and I've just subscribed, as well. See you in future video comments, friends.

My favorite and probably only enjoyable because its laughably stupid is in the original story it says along side the walking costumesz theres a 50-60 foot snake that lives on the island too, only is it mentioned once and never mentioned again- but ill say a Titanoboe sized monster anaconda would be my true worry, not micky mouse spooks.
Pretty sure you're thinking of Abandoned by Disney not this story. Abandoned by Disney is a classic that's still scares the hell out of me to this day... (That f****** photo negative Mickey mouse I swear to God is more scary than all the other popular creepypastas combined!!!!)
As for the snake it was left at Mowgli's Palace because Disney apparently has a history of just leaving the animals they use for attractions and letting them go into the wild.

I love this channel, but this story just sucked. I was invested in it, honest to God I was. Spoiler alert, but since it was about birds, I thought the big reveal was a giant demon bird was summoned as an act of revenge against Disney or something.
But the moment I heard that mf snow white was doing the Jerma sus face, i had to split.

I actually went to Discovery/Treasure Island when I was little in about 1998, I think? Which would've been just a year before it closed. Tbh, I can't remember much about it, I remember there were some birds and other animals there, it was kind of like a zoo/nature park mostly from what I can recall, and I remember I liked that bc I really liked animals as a kid, but I honestly can't recollect anything else there, and in general it seems like maybe the most unremarkable part of Disney World that I visited during that trip.
It's wild to think that it's become such a mystery now, I always assumed it closed just bc there wasn't that much there, and it just wasn't interesting enough for modern parkgoers (especially after they opened Animal Kingdom, which was sort of the same basic idea but updated a lot). Like if it failed to make much of an impression even on 7-year-old me, who loved learning about and watching animals and generally didn't have the highest standards for entertainment, I can't imagine anyone had really been enthralled by it in decades
