Forza Horizon 5 is a racing game developed by Playground Games and published by Xbox Game Studios. It will be the fifth Forza Horizon title and twelfth main instalment in the Forza series. The game is set in a fictionalised representation of Mexico. It is set to be released on 9 November 2021 for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S.
Forza Horizon 5 is a racing video game set in an open world environment based in Mexico. The game has the largest map in the entire Forza Horizon series, being 50% larger than Forza Horizon 4. The map was described by creative director Mike Brown as one of the most diverse Forza Horizon maps the team has built.
The map in Forza Horizon 5 contains areas like an active caldera volcano, jungles and beaches, ancient Mayan temples, and cities such as Guanajuato. Players can explore the open world freely, though they can also compete in multiplayer races and complete the campaign mode. Both the cars featured in the game and the player character can be extensively customised. The game is the first in the franchise to support ray tracing on cars (although this is only available in ForzaVista).

Great video. A couple of problems.
1. It's annoying that you can't drive in a straight line and constantly move on the runway.
2. Nobody uses splitstream in drag racing.
To count the fact number 2, slipstream is almost inexistent so doing that would not change anything

@@Lada-cq2lr it isn't true though. Slipstream works in FH5, over a mile distance it can easily save you half a second

Great video but I will say a few issues.
1.Try not to move around so much when rotating the camera (keep the car straight) you’ve got a large runway just take your finger off the steering thumbstick
2. Don’t slipstream, it alters results, great example of this is how the old viper caught up to new one at the end
3. Turn off traction control, most cars launch better without it. Only cars you could maybe use it for is the very low grip ones like koenigseggs
4. Try to use manual, in automatic the car shifts as soon as it hits red, but thats not actually it’s redline. Especially in old cars, it can go higher in rpms than the red part before redlining. Great example of this is 2005 Ford gt, looks like it could do another 1500rpm if you weren’t in automatic
Slip streaming for sure.
I think the transmissions should stay automatic to eliminate driver error/differentials.
I do think the viper deserves a rematch.
Also for pure self satisfaction I want to see the civics go again fully tuned haha

Higher rpm doesn't mean higher power. Every engine has it's own peak rpm, If you go past the peak rpm the engine will not produce more hp. Red line indicates rpm where engine begins to damage itself, peak of the engine power is usually right before the redline.
That means going past the redline is useless.

The old acr didnt have as much downforce as the new one means the older acr produces more drag wich makes the car faster but slower around corners.

_ahem_ some of these cars are not stock. ex: 3:09 Bugatti Veyron. the stock could reach about 403 km/h for me, over here it says that it reached 431 but that's more than the TOP SPEED of the car :(
another example: 3:45 the Bugatti Veyron couldn't possibly defeat the Chiron in acceleration nor top speed
The Bugatti Veyron Supersport (1200hp) topspeed is 431.072km/h
The normal Veyron (1001hp) is about 408 km/h
The Chiron’s electronics blocks it top speed @ 420km/h (the one in the game)
The chiron super sport 300+ reaches 490 km/h (not in the game)

But it shouldn’t reach it in that distance. This is one mile. Car should be trapping roughly 370km/h by the end. But even the FXX somehow exceeded that
The first test motor from the veyron was so powerful that it almost burned it self but the Chiron is better

there are no rules and no walls saying that you can't cross lines, drag is done in a straight line in the middle of the forest and the game is not a simulator of drag racing.

I appreciate the work you put into this but it was actually abnormal, man.. In a drag race you don't do just one attempt, at least 3 per car, you go in a straight line without interference with the other lane, so, no slipstream... and you drive manual.. so much more power could be squeezed out of so many of the cars but you did all of them in auto, shifting super early...
It must have consumed very much time and great job on that, but it isn't in any case a completely accurate representation lol
its actually shocking seeing the differences and how the game thinks some of the older cars win, eg. an F50 and v8 M3 would both win by a landslide in real life. it feels like weight may be key in this game

In Forza Horizon games Slipstream is almost useless since it doesn't look like you gain extra speed

@@Lada-cq2lr Having tested extensiveley the slipstream effect on Forza Horizon 5 I can easily assure you that it makes quite a bit of a difference on the second half of those 1 mile drag races. Yes it makes a difference and yes it can change things on the 1 mile drag race in Forza Horizon 5.
