Meet the Miniaturist: Miniature Worlds Exhibit at QVMAG

In my latest Meet the Miniaturist broadcast, I'd like you to meet Ashely Bird and Joshua Smith, co-curators of the Miniature Worlds Exhibition at the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery (QVMAG) in the City of Launceston in Northern Tasmania.
Mr. Bird, Senior Curator of Art and Design at QVMAG and Mr. Smith, a gallery owner and participating artist in the show take us on a virtual tour, talk about the inspiration for the exhibition and share a close up view of some of the works featured in the show. We also gain insights about why miniatures are having a Big moment right now and how this show expresses that view!
From the museum website: "Miniature Worlds is the first exhibition in a series which explores the miniature art movement that has captured the imagination of generations and features over 30+local, national and international artists who present an intricate and tiny look at our world made smaller using diorama and scale structure".
