"It would scratch his shame every time I would bring it up," that's a keeper statement right there. What a way to pinpoint how it feels whenever we've done something wrong and it gets brought up again after you hope it's already been fully processed. Great interview.

I'm glad they were crying because I was weeping almost the entire time! I love their honesty and vulnerability. Praise Jesus and thank you FOTF!

Well done to them sharing so vulernably about the emotional affair. I can so identify with that feeling something is off and that it doesn't matter how many compliments you give your husband, he's not accepting them because he's in an emotional affair.

I love it when Sarah said my spirit
But corrected to the Holy Spirit.

Thank you for sharing ❤️ And for being vulnerable and candid to show others they are not alone. It is such a turn off to hear pastors and leaders in the church claim they do not have any issues in their marriage - leaving any listener to feel alone, isolated, and too ashamed to share their struggles.
And so many marriages have similar seasons such as theirs, where the blows just keep coming. Amazing testimony how their faith and the Holy Spirit got them through these seasons and struggles! May we all have ears to hear what the Holy Spirit is calling us to do in His name!

Such a real talk, love that. Bless their family and hearts. I feel like Granger and Amber Smith's story would be amazing on focus also.

@Focus I thought this was a regular marriage podcast, and I’m bawling. 😭😭😭 I’VE BEEN THERE TOO! I’m a heart mom. My baby was diagnosed in utero (2020). I was alone to receive his diagnosis and was encouraged to terminate; I did not. It was incredibly tough on our relationship… My husband was refused entry to the vast majority of our prenatal appointments, because of the pandemic… We weren’t able to be at his bedside at the same time, even when he was on life support… the list goes on and on. It did all play into a terrible betrayal. But, we’re fighting back. ❤ Our baby is three now, much healthier than we would have ever anticipated (living with CHD), and we’re adding to our family, through adoption, this year.

Sarah I feel your broken heart! I’m so grateful for our sons miracles and my own of physical healings. I feel so undeserving and it breaks my heart in the weirdest way of sorrow and joy.
it’s so unexplainable! why me!?! But thank you ! thank you for all your goodness Lord! And this is the 1st time I have heard someone say exactly how my heart feels about our Blessings. Thank you for sharing your heart!!

Lord help more Christian men, especially married men to have the strength of Joseph.
We have the Holy Spirit indwelling us
Lord help us to say yes to the. Holy Spirit

Thank you so much for sharing. This pierced my heart on so many areas. Deeply impacted. The song Lead Me helped me through a season of loss and grief while over my Mom passing due to stage 4 lung cancer that mastasized to her bones and brain.

    We can rebuild trust
But it will never be the same
It will have to be a new normal
Going forward the relationship is forever tainted

    • @mchristr

We have betrayed the love of Jesus and yet he has forgiven us. Does that taint our relationship with Him?

This statement is so true! I'm a living witness 20 years ago it's normal but not the same love, trust, understanding, thoughts, touch,...heart felt feeling I remember before my husband broke convenient🙏🏾

I don't always pick up this program aa I'm single. But TH-cam has a way of bringing up programs & channels even if one has watched them once! Rather annoying.
