MVP, most valuable player. Messi is the most valuable player. He is the reason many of us are even watching MLS. He is the reason FIFA world club cup is inviting Inter Miami. And he is the reason his old teammates joining Inter Miami and win the title. He is the MVP.
Of course, if it’s awarding players that stays in the field the longest as a must and have influential role in the win, it would be awarded to the goal keepers.

Messi has won Inter Miami two trophies while being best player of both competitions. MLS surpassed three top European leagues in 2024 attendance (LaLiga,SerieA,Bundesliga). The GOAT has done his job.

More like Lionel Messi only got 19 games to win MVP. Cause he couldn't plan for injuries and Copa America takes away a lot of MLS games from him. And Miami winning during Copa America was a possibility cause Messi gave Miami players to do it and the rest of MLS team were weakened too with players called up.
