recently bought a 09 e92 335i im in the 941 area as well cars at the body shop currently gotta replace the turbos after that the car should be done
Nice, I did a full rebuild on the turbos with upgraded parts from Turbo Lab America. Now I’m going single turbo.
@@941garage i haven’t fully checked the condition of the turbos yet but i’m either going to rebuild them or i’m going to get the oem ones from fcp and then go with a mhd tune
@@bxjxn8623 If you do buy new turbos, I would just recommend to get the 17t or 19t, with the upgraded dual port oil trust collar and 14mm spacer. I kinda regret rebuilding the stocks because they are really limited on power. So if you get upgraded turbos you can always get a custom tune later on to really benefit from those bigger turbos. It’s been proven 17t turbos with mhd v5 e40 map to push around 500-530whp.

You should definitely “retune” for v9 maps
I tried all the maps, v5 e40 feels the smoothest and has the best power delivery. Yes i know that the knock tables are a bit desensitized, but I'm not worried.
@@941garage v5 E40 probably produces the most power out of the OTS maps. 👍🏾
V10 maps pretty good though.
@@Saif0412 still on v9 e40. not as raw as the v5 but tearing the car down right now for maintenance. how would you compare v9 to v10
@@tronn_carter I tried the v10 maps and they still can’t really compare to the v5. In my case. V5 e40 boost spikes to 22psi and tapers to 17psi. V10 e50 boost spikes 21psi and tapers almost to 15psi. Could be different for other people.

I have done all the maintenance you can think of when I purchased the car. Has been reliable for 25k miles so far.

Not a big difference, just way cooler iats and 0 degrees of timing almost every log.

I have the 335is clutch kit upgrade. been going strong for 15k miles now.
Nice bro I have a pretty close set up myself. 07 E92 335i mhd stage 2+ e40 . Relocated inlets, fbo, muffler delete and cat delete. I got a spec stage3+ clutch with a steel smfw . Definitely want to add meth soon

450 WHP not HP is a bit underwhelming for all that methanol nonsense hassle and mixing E85 nonsense hassle.
My 335is is FBO Stage 2+ V10 93 Octane only + Stock Inlets and I should be at 420 WHP.

What does your v5 e40 mix consist off? Gallon wise
The E85 station by me usually has about 85-90% ethanol content, so full tank with an e40 mix for me is about 6.5gal E85 and 8gals of 93.
