The thing is modern composers and singers have no idea how to incorporate indian classical elements with modern (music tools unlike back in those days) and even if they do they consider it inferior to the crap that is being put out right now and the blame also goes onto the general indian audience who consider any western forms of art(music,art, entertainment),languages and other lifestyle components a thousand times superior to our own cultural traditional elements. Nothing can be done about it indian tradition is bound to be doomed within a few years, an majority of our population of the present and future generation would be very content with that.
