Someone who will remain nameless - did that to me one day - "Do a TickTock... do a loop), while I was practicing some aerobatics with my HK450. It was windy too, and after the ugly attempt at a tick-tock the heli dived and the resultant late pull-out ended with a tumbling/flipping/smashing skid across the grass. I was flying Spectrum/JR. Should I blame it too? Bad luck Neil, summer's coming so you better get fixing or get some fixed wings fast :)
and their goes ron with his trash bag. but where's the garbage truck for that official swmac disposal? and i am so glad i didn't get one of those little things. touchy.
@CrackerMcGillicuddy Oh it most definitely is.. I started with a walkera that costed around 100 dollars a few years back. It took two helis to just learn how to hover. I have way more experience flying planes and have only crashed twice within 4 years or so. Planes are a lot cheaper and a lot easier to learn, but helis just look like so much fun!
Test spooling next to your noggin is not recommended. I have seen feathering shafts let go countless times, and those blades fly off with enough force to embed 2 inches into flesh.

you guys are really great love watching your video always.....
"Bit a sticky-tape it should be good Neil." - Best line ever!
If only modern multi rotors took as much dedication to master maybe the hobby would still have a future.....
this commentator is hilarious......we need more RC videos and comments from him....
@GabrielB1231 Nope, thats the main rotor knocking the tail, tailstrike is losing a tail blade as a result of striking the ground. ;)
How long does the battery last on this nice t-rex heli?

Looks like you guys have a good time out there.
@SvenOkonomi Looked more like a non-idle up looping attempt to me, with a tail blow out half-way through? Not sure. Hope the damage was managable.
The best way to pick yourself up after a crash is to laugh about it, just don’t let the pilot here you. Lol.
You guys are hilarious, looks like a cool club. Great videos!
You guys make me feel smart sooo smart! I dont know why thow. By the way great video
So what happened? Tailstrike?

what vehicle is the green truck at the beginning?
Quit acting like the 250 is small and cheap. It's a great heli
Why does Barry always look the coldest?

Yep, sure is.
I'm in the area and i wish i could join the banta but i dont realy have any money to throw around at helicopters :-(. Fuck i should get a job
You're always welcome to drop out to the airfield on a Sunday and join in the banter. Hell, we may even find a plane for you to fly! :-)
Oh awesome ill see what i can do!
never put a crashed helicopter directly in the car because the lipo akku can catch fire
Elicopter = 1 minute of glory 1 life pain
I was thinking of getting into helicopters but it looks like a pain in the wallet.
omg... clearly a pilot error and again Spektrum is responsible...
This guy had his head switch in wrong position ended up lawn darting it lol newb mistake
he didnt know a better excuse than blaming spektrum lol
Der hat im loop doch voll Pitch stehen lassen..
@SvenOkonomi u mean boom strike
looked to me like the pilot just lost it, lol, then scraped around the excuse barrel.
lol he went inverted and didn't know what to do... is what it looks like to me.
Kermit Frog truck :D
lets hope he doesn't drive his ute like that
I would like to see you seventy years and this ironic tone you have, to see you know something more and better than these guys.
