I think Longbow hunters is on par with Dark Knight Returns in terms of reinventing the character and boiling it down to essentials. So nice that this story will have more exposure now - thank you!
Subsequent ongoing series (Grell run) is probably the best example of extremely grounded superhero narrative. I hope you will cover some of it in the future.
Agreed. Longbow Hunters and the Grell run was my first introduction to Green Arrow. It's still may be arguably GA's best series.
you're right. the way grell kept things simple and straight to the point is something i wish had been more spread in DC. Imagine ongoing grounded Batman series... oh well
As an archer, I had to facepalm when you read out him saying that he stuck with the longbow cause he wasn't a good enough archer to shoot with a recurve or compound bow....
As far as hitting what you aim at goes, easy to hard is: Compound - Recurve - Longbow.
The longbow is by far the hardest of the three to be good at.

If you are mad about the Black Canary casting.....this comic proves u wrong, Dinah has black short hair, she usually wears a blonde wig, recent comics made her an actual blonde, so the studio has the option to choose also there is something called Hair dye.
The season 7 premier was awesome.

I still watch Arrow and I'm so glad the new season started. Arrow and Supernatural were the two shows i was most fiending for. I love Batman and Robin but Sam and Dean are the REAL dynamic duo. I was so happy to see Michael Jai White, Vinny Jones and Cody Rhodes in the season opener. So glad Ricardo Diaz is sticking around, been a fan of Kirk Acevedo, since Oz. And i forgot how gorgeous Julianna Harkavy is.
The opener was really awesome this season. I never was this excited to watch since Barry first appeared back in s02..
Batman and Robin will always be great so I might watch more supernatural, that's high praise

Totally get this us off topic for the show, but could you do an episode, somehow, thanking Hugh Jackman for being Wolverine? He continued the continuity withing cinema until marvel (paramount and marvel) could take on what it us today. I totally get that it is not a "co.ic accurate piece". But cinematically what marvel and its representing studios are attempting is as close to the big screen representation of true comics as all comic fans could get. So first off; thank you for all of these comics. Secondly, (and personally) a big thank you to High Jackmaon for branching X-Men to the current Marvel universe. I wish he could be in them. Thank you

Arrow really blew the whole Dinah character. Forcing felicity, diggle and the sidekicks in there makes it seem like fan fiction as opposed to an actual representation of the Green Arrow. Lastly, in the television show Arrow you hear more fake technology terms than anything archery related.
But I keep watching it because s1, s2 and s5 gave me hope

It's not like he couldn't. He didn't think about it though.
Because Death, i a concept, and the women Thanos is loving is just a vessel of a concept. Plus Death loves Deadpool.

@@platinumcanada7011 most likely because he has "died" or at least should many many times. Death (the concept) follows him wherever he goes and escapes death everytime unlike Thanos who brings death(the concept) where he goes.
