I like this version. I looked for it. I knew I would like this song, if it was done accoustically So often songs are given too much over production. But you can tell its a good song, if it can get it out from underneath all the stuff covering it up.
Wouldn't it be awesome if for once Jess would sing a song in the same key as she records it in... Not do be a dick but if you can't consistently hit those notes, then drop the recordings key. Sounds good either way, but when you go from listening to one to the other there is obviously a lot of difference, not to mention she doesn't even sing lead in the chorus.

She did the same thing with clean bandit when she sang 'Real Love' love. She'd leave off all the high notes. I love her voice, but if she can't hit those notes live she should record it in the lower key.
The high notes fit the song better but she has a low voice so she can only hit them with auto tune but it's ok cuz when she stays within her range live she still sings in tune. I get your point though
Totally agree! I've said this on a different performance of thus song. It's so annoying when artists do this. I mean, once or twice.. ok, but if you're never going to perform the song in the recorded key, then lower the frigging' record! Tryna to fool us into thinking they got that range.. who are you fooling Boo Boo Kitty? Not only did she lower the key (i'll state that it's only a semi-tone, but still), she also sung the chorus a whole octave down! I mean like.. how far off is your actual tessitura from what you record in the studio?
To be honest I was very disappointed after watching this. You can tell they changed keys possibly 2 half steps down. Like wow the back up singers were better than her and are taking her spot... I really wanted to hear that high note that she hits after the bridge..
I'm disappointed Jess you should of been singing lead I was singing along and even j can hit them come on not only do you bring it down from C to B, and if your gonna bring it down you gotta hit that note and tbh that's what I came to see which is why I clicked so I could hear your voice not your backing vocalists voice

Good points, but I think she went for a soulful, slower version for the acoustic recording. So amazing. She is heaven sent.
