Poor princess margaret she lost her father at teenage, she lived under her sister shadow, she cant marry someone she loved, even when she died she wanted to fit it with her family by cremation to save space for her sister too.

The late Prince Philip , Duke of Edinburgh , formerly The Prince Philip of Greece and Denmark …….a man of enchanting good looks. A man imbued with a mind of insatiable curiosity , ceaseless interest and determination to read , learn , explore , meet people and encourage all in the departments of science, technology , ALL the Arts and helping them ALL. A man of intellect , intelligence and discipline and running through his blood and bone marrow - a natural sense of duty and service. The Queen , was extremely lucky to have married him and relied on his bone marrow of duty and sense . He might have married anyone but a concatenation of circumstances came to circumscribe the task to him . Like all , he had his faults , principally his attitude and beliefs for Charles being the most unfortunate BUT then , in its context , I can understand his thinking , however wrong he was for Charles. As I say , Elizabeth was jolly lucky that he acquiesced to her “ crush” on him and the overall pressure on him , not just from his uncle Mountbatten , to actually marry her . Indeed he loved her , was loyal and faithful to her and her role and provided her with unwavering support , care , consideration and credibility. IMO
