This interview confirms my theory that the character of Henry/Jack Maddox was created for Jonathan Bailey. When I heard he had wanted to play a role in Heartstopper, and reread the comic seeing how much the comic character actually looks like Jonathan Bailey, AND realized that Alice was writing the comic as S2 was filming,… It kinda clicked in my head that Maddox was created for him. I REALLY hope Nick acts grumpy and jealous at first, and then trips over a chair, just like in the comic.

you do have to keep in mind here that it's not just that joe is a small guy, but also that kit has become quite large. he's gained a LOT of muscle in the past 3 years 😭
