Now that's vain repetition because they are just repeating the same prayer over and over again without it really coming from their own hearts. It's just words with no meaning behind them. That's why Jesus said do not pray with vain repetition... it's not the repetition that's the problem it's the lost of emotion when you repeat something that is the problem....44 And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words. (Matthew 26:44)

Yeshua means Salvation. Our Savior's name is truely Yeshua. The original Holy Word was written in Hebrew before being translated to Greek. The Greek translators changed His beautiful name, Yeshua, to Jesus.
Still to this day when the original Hebraic Old Testament/Tanak is read the word for Salvation is Yeshua.
@Russian Citizen Yehovah is the literal name used in the original text. It means: Who was, Who is, and Who forevermore shall be.
Yeshua is correct.
Yahweh isn't found in the original writtings.
Yeshua is still to this day written as the word meaning salvation in the Hebrew Tanak.

Not only this, but being inspired by the Holy Spirit, it also caused the names of Jesus, and of God, as well as the various titles to be written in the GREEK language-not Hebrew.

"America's pastor" is not a term I'd use for Joel Osteen.
Perhaps a better term would be “America’s Hireling”
but it is true. it's the 'american 'gospel'' of God exists to provide you with health, wealth, and happiness. Ray is using the title in irony because as most of America claims to be Christian and hates the actual Gospel, yet has no issue with Joel Osteen as he does not proclaim the Gospel, so Joel Osteen is their 'pastor' and the head of their 'church' is not Christ.

I personally believe Joel Osteen serves Satan‘s kingdom and I’m not alone in this. Though I would never shout blasphemies at him as that is not very pleasing to the Lord. Joel says things that tickle peoples ears and that’s about it. I remember watching a sermon from him years ago where he said that the Lord looks down on the impoverished and that was it for me!
I also have a client who was on a flight in first class with he and his wife Victoria and she was dropping the F bomb right and left. Thats right Joel Osteen‘s wife! Apparently the stewardess told her she had to keep her little doggies up and she told her where she could go. There are many false prophets And there is none good but God. Ray I absolutely love your gentle approach with how you handle some of the people you evangelize to. You certainly have the Holy Spirit living within you. God bless

If I was him I wouldn't have called him a cuss word. I would have told Joel that "what shall profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his soul". Joel is very rich and uses his church to live a very luxurious lifestyle. I think he shouldn't do that and I think he teaches his followers not the importance of the Bible but only what people want to hear. I don't believe he teaches the Bible the right way. He doesn't talk about us being sinners and are heading to hell. All he talks about is how much good God can do for you if you donate you 10% or do good things in life. It's sad to see a preacher not teach the Bible the way it's meant to be taught.

Mr Osteen is not my pastor...and I'm saddened to hear you refer to him as America's pastor. Yes...its likely so for those that do not read the entirety of God's word for themselves and follow many false teachers that preach smooth sayings. Nevertheless this was not something that was glorifying to GOD and was shameful. Joel Osteen needs prayers that he will see the truth and repent and own up to his false teachings publicly so that some may see the error they have been lead away with.

My son now identifies as bisexual, and my daughter just got kicked out of a Christian school -- both have gone to ONLY Christian schools their entire lives. Due to 15 years of a hellish marriage, I'm now severely depressed and homeless. Please pray for all involved; thank you, God bless you

Can't tell if you are a man or woman based on what you wrote, but if you are a man, you need to find a lawyer that fights for father's rights. I know it may seem late in the game, but men are left with no other choice than to pray and take legal action. Please consider.

@@MsBridgesSocial Yes, I'm a man. I forgot to mention I'm a born-again Christian and 100% drug & alcohol free. Unfortunately due to severe depression and my ADD I can barely do personal hygiene, let alone much else.
However, possibly due to prayers from my post, my ex let us have lunch at a restaurant a few days ago w/ both my kids (she sat @ a separate table behind us) -- she even let me ride in the car w/ them. To my surprise, she then let us spend another 30 - 40 mins @ a 2nd location.
Three significant things occurred on that day: 1. This was the first & only time (in 2021) it was an unsupervised visit with our kids; 2. Riding in the car w/ our kids (another 1st for 2021) (car accident's how she got her PTSD); 3. We got to spend aprox 90 mins together (lots of hugs) -- all while my ex didn't criticize, micro-manage or get involved in our visit. Thank you Jesus Christ!
I shared this video on Facebook and laughed now I feel bad 😔 but at least someone had to tell him. I pray he repents and turns from sin. And I hope someone prays for me too I would appreciate it we all need help.

The name of Jesus Christ is truly beautiful. Demons tremble at the name of Jesus Christ. Demons are cast out in the name of Jesus Christ. The name of Jesus Christ is the most powerful name ever. Jesus Christ is the savior's true name. Us Christians pray in Jesus' name.

I noticed Ray was getting a little flustered when the lady was being difficult. That helps me because Ray has been doing this a long time and sometimes he gets a little rattled. Could you imagine if she was being extremely difficult or even hostile. Evangelism is not always easy. I learned from this and it gives me reassurance that I'm not alone in my feelings of anxiety.
@@robertdouglas8895 Matt. 6:12-15 Yes and no. We should ask for forgiveness for your sins. But also, we should forgive those who trespass against you. God will forgive you if you forgive others, as he said he would, but God also commands you to ask for forgiveness and repent. Now, God is faithful. He will do as he said. But, we are to be faithful to him also, that we might reflect Christ, who was always faithful to God. If we love him, we rely on him to help us do as he says. Hence, we rely on the Holy Spirit to humble us that we might be able to see the plank in our own eye Matt. 7:1-5. I've never seen Ray place himself above others. From my understanding, he always acknowledges his own sin, then points out the sin of others. Completely equalized. Think about it this way: how are we ever going to become humble if we cannot acknowledge our sin? How can we ever stand before God justified if we think we can be sinless on our own? One who can't confess their own faults will always be very proud, unless they are actually perfect. And only God fits that bill.
@@robertdouglas8895 Repent and believe in the gospel. That is no ploy. Some People don't like to be told they're sinners because they love their sin and don't want to give it up. We have to do more than to forgive others. We need to repent of our sins and trust in Jesus Christ and believe in the entire gospel. We need to be a doer of God's truth and live the truth of the gospel. Not just the parts of the gospel that we agree with and then we can disregard the rest. That's not how it works.
Check out the Living Waters podcast. He admits he still gets nervous. I mean while it is, Good News, it's serious for the person you're talking to. I think it's only human to be a bit nervous. Just don't let that overwhelm you

@@LivingWaters If that is your position, it was not clear from the video. Remember God told Jeremiah not even to pray for people who were wilfully depraved. Has anyone ever heard of a mega wealthy prosperity preacher repenting, renouncing all his riches and following the true gospel? Paul stressed, if even an angel of God were to preach a different gospel, "let him be accursed". He did not say to pray for false preachers. They have chosen their fate.
Jesus said Truly, they have had their reward in this lifetime. Only judgement remains.

Is it not common knowledge among those who aren't blind & deaf that Joel Osteen is a false prophet who steals money from his followers in the name of Jesus? Your ministry is huge, you could save so many people from his lies & greed by calling him out, but instead use words that seem to imply that he is a good person. I do not agree with using profanity for any reason, as a Christian we are to show compassion and love towards one another, Jesus tells us to humble ourselves. As far as Olsteen goes I wouldn't call him a minister at least in the terms of Christianity, the things he believes in and says is okay goes directly against the word of God, especially when it comes to perversions and abominations.

Joel Osteen isn’t my pastor, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven, being Christian means to be more Christlike right? Somehow I think if Christ was here today he wouldn’t need millions of dollars from everybody to fly around on fancy planes to preach what the father wants us to know…I don’t like pastors that use Jesus to obtain their wealth. Same as I don’t like politicians that claim to represent us, and pass policies that help everybody but us
JO is paid through his books not by the church; and regardless even if he was paid by the church, who gives YOU the right to determine WHAT his salary should be? isnt that the job of the church board, and if the pple dont like the church board or how it does things; they can always go to another church! wd YOU like some random person to determine how much YOUR salary shd b?
I used to listen to him too, and his teaching is about a better life now. But Jesus Christ teach us to not be apart of this world to love one another and to recognize them by their fruits. Jesus also said many will come in his name and they do. But their heart has deceived them. They really don’t know that, because they are driven by the force of this world such as wealth. It ok to have wealth but not placing wealth before the Lord. And most preacher or pastor has doing so has mislead million away from truly serving our lord Jesus Christ.

Thank you for making these videos, Living Waters. I realize I have some healing and re-educating needed because of my confusing and religious upbringing. We were encouraged as kids in our youth group to evangelize to strangers but without any understanding of what we were doing or why. It was an impersonal and humiliating experience for me and the people I would talk to. I've had a very cynical view of evangelism because of those experiences. These videos have been very healing to watch. Thank you ❤️
The story of the Centurion supplies a living example of faith, one that we should all take notice of.
The centurion said: “I am not worthy for you to come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. . . . When Jesus heard it, he marveled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel." Matt. 8:8-10.
This is what Jesus declares to be faith.
There can be no doubt about this kind of faith, for Christ is "the Author . . . of faith" it, and he says that that which the centurion manifested was "faith;" yes, even "great faith."
The centurion wanted a certain thing done. He wanted the Lord to do it. But when the Lord said, "I will come" and do it, the centurion checked him, saying, "Speak the word only," and it shall be done.
Now, what exactly did the centurion think would do the work?-"The word ONLY."
Upon what did he depend upon for the healing of his servant?-Upon "the word ONLY."

We went to a privately owned coffee shop yesterday bought gift cards and gave them away with living waters gospel tracts in the line waiting for the drive through. So much fun, gift giving and telling people who the real gift is. Thank you Ray and team for inspiring us to be bold for our faith, generous with His love and having a heart for those who are perishing.

And as for Joel Osteen.. his Dad John Osteen will always be one of my favorite preachers. I still watch him today and John greatly encourages me with his enthusiasm & knowledge in presenting the Word of God. Pray for Joel, we all fall short.
I could answer that why he was cussed out. He is a false preacher.
I remember once upon a time, as a child(maybe 14 years old or so) I had accidentally recorded myself with a tape recorder. When I listened to that recording of myself days later I said to myself, "listen to that nut, who is this raging fool?!!!", Then I did realized that "nut and raging fool" was me. Changed my life. Everyone needs a moment like that. The Bible says "Satan blind's the mind" and nobody can see themselves clearly.

Joel Olsteen is not a pastor. He’s a motivational speaker, talking people out of their last dime so he can “live large” while they go hungry. He can change though. We have to expose him, but we must forgive and pray for him too.

Southern California is fortunate to have Ray going out everyday to speak the truth of God's Grace. Satan being the great deceiver, is doing everything possible to make People hate God as much as he does to steal your soul. I love how Ray shows us his way of reaching people with the Gospel & God's great Mercy! Romans says "All have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God". The ONLY way to spend eternity with God is to confess your sin, turn from it, and accept the gift of Salvation thru Christ. We can NEVER be good enough, do enough, but by confessing or sin, believing in Christ's Death and Resurrection we are saved. FYI, for those in comments who say Ray is after money, understand this: He began his work broke but with a passion to bring God's words of Salvation to everyone he met. He's worked at this his entire life. He's NOT a rich man, rather a man who follows God's plan for his life. Ignore God's path to Salvation at your peril. It's your eternal life at stake. Not his.

She knows how to listen and is respectful. Sometimes when we think we are the teacher, we are really the student. God will teach us a lesson different than we expected.
I use Living Waters nearly everyday (I usually don’t go anywhere on Sunday, expect my local church).
I highly recommend buying some Living Waters gospel tracts. Time is short. When someone dies and goes to hell, it’s not a weekend stay; it’s for an eternity. 🔥

@@robertdouglas8895 Well, my version of my Bible(NIV) says "Go now and leave your life of sin", which explains it a little better. But Jesus knows that we will still sin, He knows that we still have a sinful nature even as Christians, and we will still sin at times. The difference is that we will not be stuck in sin as Christians, and whenever we still do mess up, we can come to God and repent and turn from our sin.
But Jesus was not asking the woman to never sin again, He knew that is impossible for any human to achieve on Earth, but what He was asking her to do was to turn from her life as a sinner and start following Him. The point of the story, though, is that Jesus, a Jew, broke all social boundaries by meeting with this woman, a Samaritan, whom Jews would never associate with whatsoever. But Jesus loves everyone and He knew this woman needed to be shown the love of Jesus because she was rejected by everyone else.
