My Great Grandmother was in California in a Relocation camp when this happened. She and my Great Grandfather were Japanese. My Great Grandfather was fighting in the war for The USA to show loyalty. I wonder what the felt like when the bomb went off and they heard about it

EAS alarms are meant to be jarring and terrifying. They are meant to wake up any person at any hour; a warning to drop everything and hide anywhere. An order to survive at all costs.
A common trend is rating the EAS alarms based on how terrifying they are. The problem I find with these is that all of them sound eerily similar- just a loud buzzer noise. Sometimes it drones on, sometimes it pings; but every time it means the exact same thing: "you have a chance, run"
This alarm is different, and is what I believe to be the single most terrifying alarm. Every other country watched the atrocity of the nuclear bomb from a distance. Every other country believes there is salvation, or some sort of ability to "survive" a nuclear bomb. Every other country has a delusion that the bomb is worth surviving. Japan is the only country to see the nuke eye-to-eye. They looked the very death of everything in the eyes twice. Their EAS is the most terrifying one because it was instated by the only country that knows what a nuke really is. This alarm does is not an order to run; it is a reminder of your now VERY imminent mortality. You are not going to survive. If you do survive the initial blast, the fallout will get you. If not the fallout, then the radiation. If not the radiation, then the loss of rations. And if you ever make it to the surface looking for food, then the complete lack of anything at all will be your demise.
This alarm is a reminder to do whatever you need before the blast. This alarm knows what is going to happen. It knows that this will be the last song you ever hear. And that's why this alarm is so terrifying. It doesn't even give you the chance to "survive". If you hear this, it is not meant to tell you to run. It is meant to tell you to stay. The only thing worse than death is surviving to see the aftershock of a nuclear weapon. Truly, a fitting alarm for a fittingly terrifying weapon.
Most people would end such a haunting message with something like "God save us all" but I'm afraid that there is no God left. His soul was obliterated by the 1st bomb, and his body with the 2nd.
If you aren't convinced God is gone after the first 2, then you're either a fool, someone who can't look truth in the face, or someone who won't understand until they see what the bomb can do first hand. If 1 and 2 weren't enough to prove that nothing can save us, you'll surely be convinced by numbers 3-12,700.
Edit: apparently this alarm is fake. What a shame. There was something poetically beautiful about it.
